Hotel Murano — Hotel in Abancay

Broken light in our room, switching off every five minutes, possible to reactivate by re-inserting room entry card in the slot. A try to repair by hotel service led in permanent dark after next 5 minutes. Reception ladies absolutely aware of this did not offer a new room. OK, one star less. Somebody from room cleaning service put between my 2 sheet layer a rivet. I noticed it in the morning, there was something hard and hurting underneath me. What a surprise! :D Association with the Princess and the Pea fairy tail cost this hotel next of 1 star of ranking. During the dinner, there was not enough space for incoming people, so there was a queue. Let's say not so bad... But to speed up dinner dispatch tempo, when there was our turn, a waiter tried to carry away our not finished plate... :D Tadaaaa, last...

Abancay doesn’t really have many attractive options so we were really happy when we found Hotel Murano. It is a new hotel and is still implementing improvements to their rooms but you can already tell it will be the next big thing there. We had the king room on the 6th floor with an amazing view from the balcony, a clean bed and altogether a great setting. Breakfast was delicious and we saw lots of solo travellers so it seems to be a place for more business visits than backpackers. We had secure parking and also received great service from the staff...

Modern and well-appointed hotel with bed and breakfast. Lovely view of the surrounding mountains from our (6th) floor. Room large and comfortable. All very clean and well-maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. We could hear music from the nearby venue in the evening - which added another dimension....
