Hostal Gregori Casma — Hotel in Casma

Needing accommodation in Casma I chose Hostal Gregori and was really pleased that I had. Located in the center of this pleasant town but very quiet, this was in an ideal location close to Sechin and all amenity's. On arrival I was welcomed by the lady in charge Maricarmen whom speaks excellent English and always has time to give you travel tips and is a mine of information. My room '27' was always kept spotless as was the rest of the hostal and had constant hot water and a large cable television with|| multiple channels to watch. This place was difficult to contact. We used Facebook and eventually got through. Good basic facilities, thoughtful and considerate staff who try hard to provide a helpful, safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Fantastic value, lovely people. Don't expect luxury this place "does the biz". Comfortable beds, good basic facilities in the bathrooms, the minor faults (the chickens kept by neighbouring properties) are nothing to fault the owners for. I founding this property on an online booking website but it was also recommended by a local friend. I should have booked directly instead of booking online. I thought I would be able to pay in advance with CC but it is CASH only so book direct. Great service from the staff. They have limited parking in the garage so if you are concerned and have a car make sure they can accommodate you. You want to ask for an inside room. I think our room number was 231 any way it is off the 2nd stair case. No elevator total...
