Hotel Venecia — Hotel in Huánuco

While this hotel doesn't pretend to be special, it was clean and spacious enough for a couple, and relatively quiet except for the garbage disposal truck one morning which played loud music. The rooms were big enough for two and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was basic, and in our case, prepared before we arrived one morning, which meant the eggs were cold. They apparently made up for that the next morning by serving us breakfast in our room. The night staff is friendlier than the day staff. The location is not particularly close to town, but one can easily get to the center by 'moto-taxi' for 2 soles. There's incense burning when you enter the lobby. One nice feature--we arrived at 7 am and they let us in the room at that time, then gave us directions to a nice place for breakfast. If you're on a budget, this is a good...

This 2-star hotel is a shame. We booked in Booking a individual room for two persons and the breakfast for the whole room. When we arrived late they said the breakfast is only for one person but we had the confirmation that it is for the whole room... It has been their mistake don't write it in Booking...After showing them and connecting with the owner they didn't respect their fault and wanted that we pay more..We had been so tired, we had a contract and they didn't accept it. After saying that again they kicked us completely out and we said that we would accept only one breakfast. My girlfriend was ill and we were that tired, we said it to them, they didn't care... They showed no empathy and we're really arrogant... In a 2 star hotel, the service were horrible... We send a message to booking... Hope that...
