Alojamientos y Recreo Romero (ARO) — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

I would give 5 stars, but the hotel tried to pull a bait and switch on me and then overcharged me.

I paid S/240 for a room for one night just for me and my daughter, and then I was shown the room and put my stuff away. Later, a receptionist came to me with a card payment device asking me to pay more money because the room has an extra feature and isn't the room I paid for. This same receptionist was the one who gave me that room, led me up the stairs to it, opened the door to it and gave me.

I said I'll need to find my friend first to ask about this, and the receptionist then disappeared.

Upon checkout, I paid for the extra items I bought like food and drinks, and because I paid contactless by card, the charge ended up being higher than the food and drinks I paid.

That's bait and switch. It was disappointing to experience this. I specifically paid for a room, apparently given the 'wrong one' by the hotel itself, then sneakily forced me into paying for it.

Aside from that, I really liked the place. Lots of things for kids to see and do. A clean pool. Animals. Lots of interesting features around outside, and I think the design is really smart by having the hotel rooms AROUND THE OUTSIDE and an abundance of things to do all in the middle, with plenty of space.

Tuve mi estadía d dos días y una noche y esperaba mucho más del club la piscina todo ok pero la recepción la información le falta mucho nadie te informa todo lo q tiene el club ni que puedes hacer de actividades tienes q estar de adivino y preguntando a cada uno un club no es así te brinda toda la información y están pendientes del huésped .2 la comida mala a la 1 pm ha no había pollo no había pizza ceviche a mitad del plato y el mismo precio no me gustó para nada 3 las habitaciones mucho calor ni aire ni ventiladores . El club tiene para mucho dar pero le falta más personal de atención , mesoneros atentos alegres y no obstinados atendiendo, en la cena había exclusividad con personas q estaban hospedadas no me parece el restaurante 0 pts atención 0 pts de paso al final le doy todas mis quejas a la recepcionista y en vez de hacer q el cliente quede al menos contento o brindarle algo la prox vez lo único q dijo fue estoy informando malllll servicio de atención al cliente les...

Es un club que impresiona al visitante a primera vista, sin embargo hay un juego de altura donde hoy un niño se rompió el brazo, y no habían protocolos para manejar ese tipo de emergencias. Por otro lado las piscinas tienen rampas con lozas antideslizantes las cuales no logran el cometido para lo cual fueron diseñadas, la cancha de voley y basket está recubierta por una alfombra sintética que se está despegando lo que ocasiona tropiezos al practicar el deporte, lo mismo pasa en el caso de los juegos sobre todo en el Villar las mesas sin mantenimiento y las bolas del juego te pueden caer en los pies, por también habría que darle mantenimiento a los desagües de los baños.
