Hostal residencial Cesar Alberto is situated on the corner of a nice little street full of restaurants and boutiques. It is also not too far from main streets where more activity is going on. It is also close to some museum. The hostal was refered to me by a friend and I would say that it is not a palace but it is quite alright. The room was big and it had a private bathroom that was also spacious with hot water. The staff was nice and did their job. Price was a little high (25$/night) but listen you're in Lima. They have a taxi service available at the hostal most of the time and had reasonable rates. There is no restaurant service or breakfast included but close by there are lots of them. So yes it is a place I would recommend but don't expect too much . . . far from first class but...

It is based on a trendy street, with lots of shops and cafes.||||The hotel is clean, well run by a friendly family, as is cheaper and better value for money than the cheapest hellhole in Miraflores. They are building their breakfast area, and so it will hopefully much better if they can include breakfast as an extra.
