Hotel La Molina — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

This is an austere hotel, I don't want to criticize it unfairly, may be this is the standard value in this area, but for 10 dollars more I got a much better hotel, this is what I got for 10 dollars more: a better location: mall centers, restaurants, a great variety of business, mini fridge, shampoo, a much more spacious room, no noise, without cigarette smell and better service and installations.||||The problem with the hotels that allow to smoke in the rooms is that despite of whatever you do to clean it and try to disappear that awful smell is that never will be enough. I hate that smell and I feel worried for my health, immediately I start having trouble breathing.||||I didn't want to stay there more time, so as soon as I got another hotel I checked out.||||Oh I forgot: if you need to go out, you need to leave your key at the front desk, ok? and the noise doesn't come from outside but...

The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were serviceable and clean but a little tired. Rooms at the front of the hotel were noisy from the busy road outside, regardless of whether the windows were open or closed. Walls of the rooms were pretty thin, so activities in adjacent rooms could be noisy, and road noise was loud even at the back of the hotel. Hot water availablity was a bit patchy, so if you're desperate for a shower it may have to be a cold one. Rooms lack air conditioning, but do have a ceiling fan that push warm air about but don't cool you much. Walls with humidity and mold. You will not be able to rest since workers make plenty of noise. Although there was wiifi, connection was slow. If you need extra blanket, they will not provide it to you unless you pay extra. Better be early for breakfast so you can get one piece of bread with butter, orange juice and cheese.
