Hacienda MonteRico — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

UPDATE: was contacted by the owner of restaurant on Saturday 7/16/2022 via Facebook Messenger with the added surprise that we have friends in common. As such he apologized for the inconvenience & added that this was the first & only such incident to his knowledge ever occurring. He added that he will investigate further within his organization and stands by his crew, adding that they perhaps forgot to email the invoice as promised. I sincerely hope this is an only occurrence as I’ve recommended this establishment to international visitors & local friends. Looking forward to returning on better terms and with better service! Glad to know the owner is invested & cares for his business & customers👍

original post BEWARE OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY! The meal on 7/12/2022 was well done as we were the few customers & I invited my disabled parents to late lunch. The HUGE inconvenience came the morning after when I discovered attempted hacks to my account which I suspect was due to their asking for my email in order to send the receipt of the meal charged, which was also over charged. The receipt was not emailed and I had taken a photo of the menu and receipt which they allowed me to glance at. I will return to confront the owner and post any progress as I’m not sure if this was due to the waitstaff or organized by the owner. A little oasis in the middle of the city. It was like walking into a tropical paradise coming here! They were feeding a large group, so we were outside under a terrace. The food was delicious. They had many GF and vegan/vegetarian options. The ice cream bars were my favorite! Wow! We enjoyed some amazing music and hors d'oeuvres, and incredible Peruvian entertainment... Dances, drums, horse dancing etc. I don't think that will be everyone's experience who comes here, but it was arranged for our group and was fantastic!...

La comida muy buena . Pedí Tallarín saltado . Pechuga a la plancha Anticuchoa. Ceviche . Fuimos 35 personas así que pedimos de todo . Te sirven canasta de pan . Así no lo hayas pedido y te cobran por eso . Hay detalles que me parece que si deberían mencionar al momento de pagar por la reserva . Por grupos grandes debes haber reserva y pagar 350 soles los mismos que serán descontados de tu cuenta . No me parece caro el precio de los platos oscila entre 50-70 soles . La calidad fue buena la carne termino medio . Platos grandes . El pollo viene o papas o ensalada . Jarra de chicha 35 soles / variedad de postres . Tres leches bueno también . En general todo bien . Tienes estacionamiento por la reserva . Acceso a los juegos para niños . El espacio es grande y al aire libre . Hay barra de licores . Lo único que NO ame ha gustado es el hecho de que el mozo ( y no se si haya sido idea del mozo o es política de la empresa ) pedir que por ser 35 personas se haga UNA SOLA CUENTA. Ilógico : no íbamos a pedir exactamente lo mismo sino platos distintos por familia y cada familia quería pagar su propia cuenta a lo que se negó el mozo y YO tuve que pasar de mesa en mesa haciendo los pedidos por familia y entregárselo al mozo ¿que ese no es su trabajo ?
