Palmetto San Miguel — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

If you are a tourist steer way clear from this hotel. When you consider the cost of the rooms you would be mistaking it for a quality hotel which was close and convenient to the airport however it is not. The staff are conniving and rude if they believe you cannot understand them they will try to place false charges on your credit card for items you did not have so watch your bank account closely. Furthermore the true nature of this hotel appears to be a front for prostitutes and affairs. Could not get any sleep because the constant sexual activity occurring in the rooms around me which defeated the whole purpose that I had booked the room. Furthermore the hotel advertised that it would provide free airport transfer which it does not have the facilities for and the advertised free Wi-Fi was non existent as it would constantly break down. If you have a family or a female travelling alone do not go under any circumstances, female customers are treated poorly by the staff would not go again even if I was paid to. The only reason I booked this hotel was to have a place to rest between Lima and Cuszo as my flights were 14hrs apart and I didn't want to have to sleep at the airport. I used up my expedia points in order to get the premium room with a jetted tub. ||||The hotel was ok, not too bad however the sheets in the bed were a little dirty and the tub was so dirty it was unusable. ||||This room was also supposed to include bathrobes, upon searching for them I finally found them and they were so over used and dirty I did not want to put one on. ||||I was disappointed as the only reason for this booking was basically to soak in the tub and sleep and really couldn't enjoy either of these since the tub was dirty and the sheets not...

I read just "meh" reviews on Tripadvisor, but we had a really good experience!||||This place is perfect for a short stop in Lima. Our plane was delayed so we got in very late and had to catch another flight the next morning. Even though were were delayed, the car I reserved with the hotel was still waiting for us. It's a fairly short drive from the airport, which is good considering the insane traffic in Lima. We were super exhausted when we arrived and the woman who greeted us was delightful.
