Punta Vichayo (Casa Ballenas Art, Surf Retreat) — Hotel in Los Órganos

Friendly staff, nice venue. I only stayed one night here, a Wednesday, as there was an ongoing party with bad loud music until 5:30am. Unfortunately, the dorms are right next to the common area & shared veranda and the walls have square holes cut out of them at the top, so there is no insulation from the sound at all. You're at the mercy of the masses 24/7, join in or toss & turn. The included breakfast is stale buns and jam. The location is a bit out of town so a tad isolated. Okay the place is a good for young hippie backpakers that somehow just want to chill there all day. I can’t speak about the dormitories but the « bungalow » they charge way too much for. Cats live there (dirty sheets) and use it as their litter. The wifi doesn’t reach it. There’s no lock on the door and nothing to cook with in the kitchen. El peor lugar que he visitado en mi vida. Hice la reserva y al llegar me notificaron que estaban llenos y me echaron de ahí de manera hostil diciéndome que estaba loco y que no era posible. A pesar de que el error fue del dueño no se me ofreció ningún tipo de ayuda para encontrar alojamiento y tuve que regresar caminando con todas mis cosas hasta la plaza del pueblo a varios kilómetros del local. Para colmo me acusaron de no presentarme. El dueño es un completo irresponsable y el local tiene pésima atención con el cliente. Si alguna vez viajas a Órganos y quieres quedarte un lugar cómodo y agradable, aléjate lo más que puedas de Casa Tiki y si no hay más espacio en todo el pueblo ve al Ñuro, a Vichayito, a Máncora o por último acampa.
