La Villa Hotel Restaurant Mollendo — Hotel in Mollendo

This hotel was average--which is great for Mollendo. It was clean, safe, and the staff was very nice. We left our things for several hours after checking out. I took a cold shower after several minutes of waiting with just one knob turned on--took turns trying to figure it out. When I sat on the toilet, my knees touched the wall in front of me! The main thing is that there walls are thin--you hear everything, but it was the off-season (for the beach) so things got quiet about 11:00 PM when the hallway lights was turned off (the light streamed in thgrough the windowd and thin curtains). There was a fan and extra blankets. The beds were comfortable and there was plent of space to put clothes away and/or store suitcases and more. Breakfast was buffet style (bread, fruit, hardboiled eggs, juice, oatmeal, ham and cheese, butter and jam)--but coffee was hot water and Nescafe packets of instant coffee. You can order eggs if you'd like. The TV was on in the dining room starting at 6:30 AM and loud--no one was watching. The Hotel is a Good Place to stay in Mollendo. Silent place to calm down, Clean rooms, fresh smelling towels and a huge shower with hot water 24h! The beds are great and there is a minibar. For breakfast you get everything what you need and also if you need in the evening something for dinner, the Senora of the Hotel will cook something for the guest if the restaurant is closed. |The only Thing that is unpleasant is the carpet in the room, its a pity, a wooden ground would be much more hygienic! |So if you travel, dont forget, it is not an european Standart, but good for Peru! This property is one of the most comfortable in Mollendo, however it is not fancy by any means.
