We went to Mollendo spontaneously and found the hotel by one of the main streets. ||Owner’s daughter speaks very good English and she helped us not only with accommodating us in one of the best rooms but also with recommending nice restaurants to eat. This is not a 5 star hotel and for what it is, it is great, clean, well taken care of and nice (probably the nicest in the town) place to stay. ||5 minutes up the road from the hotel there is a local market with fresh fruit, veg, etc, where you can buy all you need to pack your basket...
