We were a little concerned about staying in Pisco. The town is not the cleanest city in Peru. Most of the tourist stay in Paracas. But Paracas is pretty expensive. So we tried it. This hotel is nice enough. ||The GOOD. It's convenient to get to and from most of the buses. The price is OK it seems a little high priced for the town it's in. The pool is nice. The room was clean. The water was hot Saturday night but it never got hot on Sunday morning. There was a small fan fixed to the wall that blew on the bed. ||The BAD. No hot water Sunday morning. No windows in the room and NO A/C. So it never cooled off in the room at night. ||The RESTAURANT: Well we were in a hurry so we ate at the restaurant on site. We ordered simple plates. AN HOUR AND 20 MINUTES later our plates arrived. The next morning we tried the free breakfast and it was scrambled eggs with bread and OJ. It was OK. We tried the restaurant again Sunday for lunch we were not in a hurry and I wanted to give them a second chance. Food arrived in about 30 minutes. So if you have lots of time and just want to hang out at the pool and eat it's ok. For me I wont be spending my time or $ at the restaurant there again. The service is typical. The prices are high just...
Read moreThe hotel was quite nice despite the appearance of the neighborhood; it is well located, only a couple of blocks from the main plaza. Check-in was efficient and the staff friendly and helpful, but English is limited. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, complete with refrigerator and balcony. They have a very nice pool ||area, and the restaurant/breakfast area was delightful. Various snacks, ice cream, smoothies, etc. are available. The free hot breakfast was served to our table: ham and eggs, wonderful fresh juice, good coffee, and rolls (not wild about their margarine). There may have been more choices for breakfast but our limited Spanish and the waitress’s non-existent English hindered our finding out. There is no elevator, also no hair dryer. While the neighborhood seems under construction, a block or two walk somewhat improves the appearance; but Pisco did not seem to us...
Read moreI was here with a group of friends. Since we arrived in the evening we did not use the swimming-pool, even if it seemed cleaned enough.||All of our 7 rooms were comfortable and spacious (probably because the building was newly-constructed).||||Staff was very kind, we had both dinner and breakfast; both of them were good in variety and quantity.||||The hotel is located 10 minutes walking from the city centre, but I think it is a great place to spend a night if you come from Lima and you have planned to go to Islas ballestas, Huacachina and/or Nazca the day after.||||Excellent...
