First, I tried to make a reservation using the web page. I got a cancellation after my first try. Then, I called the hotel and did a reservation through the telephone. They asked me for my ETA, so I told them 7pm. At 7pm, seeing that I couldn't make it on time, I called the hotel sharing that due to traffic (I was driving 160 miles from home), I would likely arrive at 9pm instead of 7pm. The person at the phone told me: 'ok, but you will lose the reservation after 9pm' (?). I finally arrived at 9pm and: ||- they didn't have a parking lot||- the hotel was nowhere near what the photographs showed||- the person in charge of the check-in (likely the same who answered the phone) was lying in the reception's couch watching TV and took some minutes to finally find my reservation details||- she didn't have the slightest idea that I needed an extra bed for my child (I clearly stated this when I made the reservation by phone 2 weeks ago)||- finally, I asked for a bathroom, and found out that the restroom near the reception was full of cockroaches||||To make a long story short, I didn't even check in and had to look for another hotel in the middle of the night, losing 3-4 hours from our...
Read moreWe stayed there for 2 nights in early June based on previous reviews. Unfortunately we found this relatively new hotel on the decline. On our second day we had to ask for hot water to be turned on and the "hearty" breakfast which was already pretty average had no cooked items because the owner had run out of cooking gas. It is currently priced as a 3 star hotel but it does not deliver to that level of service.||On the positive side it has a good location on Plazuela Belin next to supermarkets, a colectivo stand... The rooms are large and clean. The beds are comfortable. There is a communal fridge downstairs. The owner and staff are helpful and accommodating. ||In conclusion we would recommend staying in Pisco (Vs. Paracas) to experience life in a large Peruvian city without tourists. Pisco has over 130,000 inhabitants. But we would do some comparison shopping for a place to stay. And there are quite a places to...
Read moreWe a group of friends spent one night here in February 2016. It was too expensive and crowded to stay in Paracas, so we were headed back towards Lima. By accident we got off a bus around the corner from this hotel. As it was getting g on in the day, we decided to spend the one night after seeing the room. We don't know if it is anew hotel or under new management, but I believe we were the only ones staying here. No Ac but the fan made the room comfortable.the hotel is set on on of the main squares with a pedestrian shopping area nearby. No breakfast in hotel. Friendly very helpful staff, very limited english. If you find yourself in the area nice place to...
