Hotel Brassia — Hotel in Satipo

It was difficult to arrange for accommodation in Satipo from Canada as we could not find any information. Our hotel in Lima arranged for us to stay at Hotel Brassia. We were very satisfied with our rooms. My husband and I had a double bed and our boys next door had twin beds. We arrived in Satipo early in the morning on the bus and were able to check in immediately which was nice so we didn't have to wait until later in the day as is the case with most hotels. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The staff were helpful and recommended a tour guide to show us the sights of Satipo. We saw the petroglyphs, a waterfall, a small zoo, an Ashaninka (sp?) village, swam in the Rio Satipo, and went to a nice restaurant just out of town. We had Chinese food twice which was good but was a challenge to order because we weren't exactly sure what we were getting.||Not many people in Satipo speak English, so go armed with a dictionary and/or phrasebook plus some basic knowledge of Spanish if you can.||Hotel Brassia was just a few blocks from the main plaza so it was easy to walk there or you could take a...

Este hotel es muy comodo, no es de lujo, pero es bonito, además, queda cerca del centro, así que puedes ir a hacer actividades. También incluye TV, wifi (gratis) y un escritorio (estuvimos en habitación estándar). Pero hay una cosa que no me gustó, pues en nuestra habitación, no había tapa de baño, (creo que solo fue en mi habitación) pero aún así había agua caliente y era muy higiénico el baño. Llegamos al hotel para pasar nuestra segunda noche en Satipo, después de darnos cuenta que era bastante más económico de lo que estábamos pagando, ofreciendo los mismos servicios y comodidades. ||Lo que mas nos gustó fue la disposición de las personas de la recepción.
