We stayed overnight in Satipo on our way back to Iquitos (via Lima). A friend recommended the restaurant to us for dinner and we weren’t disappointed. Our party ordered the Lomo Fino, a Pechuga Light and the Ribs a la Pachamanca, and a liter of CamuCamu and Passion Fruit. All the plates came with a small side salad and regional fried potatoes (think potatoe wedges). We also got some warm bread with mashed avocado spread as an appetizer. If you like ribs, you WILL NOT be disappointed with Costillar a la Panchamanca! I always ask for the sauce in the side because I don’t like my ribs drowning.
