The room was dirty, there were dead insects under the bed and on the window and sides. The rooms also need updating as they were very old fashioned. The staff were very friendly until they tried to make us pay for a broken toilet, which was clearly broken before we got there. The funny thing is we were helpful and alarmed them off the issue and then we, as guests, got blamed. El Kitara backpackers hostel es en una casa familiar con habitaciones compartidas y privadas en primero piso. Hay un jardin para disfrutar en asientos mas creo que esse también atrae mosquitos, cuidado. Hay cocina también. La casa no tiene nenhum identificación como hostel, es poco díficil localizar especialmente en la noche cuando no puedes ver los números en la calle. Habitación compartida para mujeres tiene bano ensuite mas es tanto pequeño y es quasi como un pared separada sin próprio techo. No es muy confortavel. Agua solo fria y no hay AC o ventilador. Ya en Octubre estaba tanto cálido que no poderia dormir en la noche. Ouvi que es possível alugar ventilador para extra precio ?!? Deveria ser automático en este ambiente. Habitación es limpia y colchón cómodo. No parece como un hostel classico, es mas como un guesthouse. Cuando estaba allá, quedó también una familia con niños pequeños que lloraban todo el tiempo. Es ubicado creo 5 cuadras de centro mas hay el centro de Jardines barrio en calle atrás. El chico en la recepción no sabía ayudar con o que hacer en alrededor de Tarapoto mas la Seňora ya estaba mucho más informada y receptiva, me dejó entrar a las 5 de la madrugada cuando...
