Hostal Vista Verde — Hotel in Tarapoto

Customer service is very poor and unfriendly. One time I inquired about not being able to use the AC in my room and I was rudely reminded that the reservation I made for the price that I'm paying was for the most basic service without AC. My reservation was supposed to include free wifi, which was not available. The front desk lady said she'd fix it but it never worked. Oh and don't ask them to do your laundry unless you want to get ripped off. I had a small bag of clothes that I asked to get washed and forgot to ask how much I would be charged and she charged me 30 soles!!! This was over 3 times what I normally would pay for this amount of clothing. I was shocked and outraged! The facilities were fine otherwise, nice, clean and comfortable. Clean and close enough to city center and airport; they even pick you up for free from the airport. They have A/C which is basic in Tarpato. (But not all hotels have it)||They do not offer breakfast, which might be an inconvenient for some, yet it helps keep a low price.
