LP Los Portales Tarma — Hotel in Tarma

This is a beautiful hotel that exceeded my expectations. The room and bathroom were spacious and well appointed. The family room consisted of two adjoining rooms, one with the largest King sized bed I have ever seen and the other with two twin sized beds. Each room had a tv. Both bedrooms had doors to the bathroom, which had two sinks. Really lovely arrangement! Plenty of hot water for showers (soap and shampoo/conditioner provided). The food at the hotel restaurant is very good. The staff was thorough and helpful and comfortable dealing with people whose Spanish is low level. the hotel was ok, a little less optimal for a 3 star hotel. what i dont settle is the service, i expect a good service for the money. our lunch took about 45 mins to get served and our diner about 25. no apologies no excuses. my mother in law asked for a meat knife (because she order steak) and the waiter told her that the cutlery was what it was ( a fork and a butter knife) and there was no more knifes to use. ||some hotel are starting to use COVID as an excuse to cut costs and this hotel may be...

At first we were happy with the hotel. Both receptionists were kind and very helpful. The building is nice and beds were comfortable. However, we decided to come here- instead of Hacienda Florida - because my husband had to work at night and we were told that they had high speed internet, which was so terrible that it kept breaking up. TVs were Smart but didn’t have internet connection either. But the worst thing is that it seemed that they hadn’t cleaned the room in a long time. I found lots of dust on the bed headboards. But the worst that happened was that we found a HUGE SPIDER!!!! My 7 yo and me were definitely terrified. See the pictures. ||||Al inicio estábamos felices. Los recepcionistas fueron muy amables.
