If I could live at this resort, I would. The mountain scenery is breathtaking, truly magical and mystical. The grounds are impeccable…I joked that their flower budget must be immense (I even saw the manager watering them one day, which is a hefty task!). We were there for four nights last week with a group of 26 students and the hotel was so accommodating. In addition to serving us delicious meals (try the lemonade on the patio, it is pure heaven!), the pastry chef (pastelero) made a birthday cake for my son’s 16th birthday which we celebrated while there, and the restaurant staff came out and sang to him a Peruvian rendition of Happy Birthday. Additionally, there is a gorgeous brick oven pizza restaurant, a cafe that serves “the best milkshakes” (according to the kids, I did not try!), and select vendors on the grounds to purchase any souvenirs you can think of. As we were there for four days, two of them being during a transportation strike where we couldn’t drive anywhere, there were lots of activities to choose from on or near the grounds. Kids did a coffee tasting class, we went on a stunning hike behind the resort, and played soccer with the locals on the fields in front. Every single person in the kitchen, grounds crew, and cleaning crew were sweet and friendly and made us feel at home. Leaving that hotel was actually really hard, because I just hope that one day I’ll find my way back. I’ve never had that reaction to any place before, but when you wake up in the morning and all is quiet, and the mist is settled down over the mountains, you’ll know why. Thank you to the lovely manager, and especially to the waitstaff and kitchen crew for being such lovely hosts and creating the absolute best experience for our group. We...

Read moreA small sanctuary worth staying at. Unfortunately I only stayed one night but I can say that I would totally spend a week here as a reflection, relaxation sanctuary. The hotel is wonderful, finely designed and beautifully decorated. Every detail is perfect. Congratulations to the team. The staff is very attentive, kind and helpful. The rooms are large, with a king sized bed. It is great, I was also not cold in the room I was perfectly fine. The Wi-Fi is also good and fully functional. There are two restaurants in the hotel, the main one and a Italian one. half of my group wanted to eat at one and the other at the Italian. Since we found the Italian decoration more lively and the ambient more alive we chose to eat there. The hotel accommodated and enables us to order food from the other restaurant to the Italian so that we could all eat together. It was very good. The Italian was also excellent, with great care and speed. There is also a bakery with a large variety of bakery made treats. The hotel also has a church ⛪️. Recommend this hotel for...
