Came here this week on a Tuesday, stayed overnight foa a quick trip in Hundred Islands. the Good part: Customer service - this was excellent! They assist you with booking with he island hoping boat rentals. The owners were also staying, they made sure costumers are provided good service. Everyone was attentive, they immediately come when they notice you need an assistance. Each guest is given personal hygiene pack for free. Towel for each guest as well. Great pillows! I'm very particular with them. There are no insects inside the room because of the fact that foods are not allowed. Another plus is the satellite tourism office is next to the property, boat rental is convenient. Location - the resort is by the beach, you step right at the shore. There are benches where you can lounge and watch the sunrise or just relax in front of the beach. You maybe wondering why I had 1 star in the location, we'll I rated the location base on how far it is from the town. In case of emergency, needing to buy something like food (they don't allow outside food) if you don't like the onsite restaurant menu, you have to drive 10-25 to the town. The resort is right in a neighborhood that is kinda remote. Driving at night is a little tough, the road is not lit. If using a Google map, it will direct you to another resort where you are not allowed to pass thru. If you arrive at night, the signs to the resort may not be visible and end up on the prohibited road and turn around. In the philippines rough roads are expected anyways. Rooms - we stayed in a single full size bedroom, on the second floor. You can View the ocean from the balcony with a sitting area but it's obstructed with roofs from other rooms. I also can't pass the smell of the bathroom, I'd say it's clean but the smell is like the scent of a drainage with an old stagnant dirty water. I recommended to the owners to install an exhaust fan. Missing some furnitures like at least a bedside table, extra hooks on the wall will be good. A chair to lounge on. All they have is a bed, period. I don't with other room though. The resort does not have a pool. Restaurant - not everything on the menu is available. Food taste good but small serving. We asked how big is an order, staff said good for two person, not really. No coffee for early risers. With strict rule of outside food not allowed, coffee should be availble for the guest at least as early as 5 am. We are early risers, we waited 6:30 am to have it.

If your goal is to go island hopping in the Hundred Islands, this is a good place to stay since there are boats nearby available for rent to take you there. I personally think it's better to stay here than somewhere near Lucap Wharf because it's also beachfront, so you can relax while watching the beach sunset after your island hopping activity. In case you need to go to the city, it's about 18-25 minutes away from Lucap Wharf. I just don't recommend staying out until dark because the road going here is a little secluded and narrow. My only concern with the room we got is the toilet – it has a foul smell coming from the shower drain (which we solved by covering it with a pail) and the shower heater is grounded. For food, there's a restaurant inside, but you can obviously go out if you want to (we went to Maxine by the Sea in Lucap Wharf for lunch). The food is okay, but I won't recommend their grilled liempo (because it's thinly sliced) and beef kare-kare (there's not much beef meat). The others we tried that are okay are pork sisig, pork binagoongan, chicken tinola, and pork sinigang. Overall, not bad. This is a good budget-friendly beachfront resort.

Rooms are okay and clean, but the staff forgot to give us room keys. The shower heaters are grounded (in the two rooms that we used). Stray dogs and cats roam around the property so be careful not to step on dog poop. Using google maps and waze can be misleading so make sure to follow the signages which can easily be missed especially if it is dark. The road that leads to the property is narrow and cracked in some portions so be careful in driving. If checking in late please call the property to make sure there is available dinner because their last call for food is at 630pm. It is quite distant from the city proper and a lot of menu items are not available. The staff like Arcy are trying their best to be accommodating but the others need more training. The thing that I liked is that they have good massage services, employing local women.

A lot of things need improvement in this resort, re: problems with electricity, we use flashlight whenever we have to use the restroom since they have problem in their electricity and that they only use generator at night even there are guest who are checked-in in their resort., locks of the room are not fuctional, no shower areas can be found in the beach area, one of their staff offers lunch suggesting that we can take our lunch in their resort even though the staff knows that we are up to an island hopping adventure. The staff said that we can take the lunch in the resort and go back to island hopping after. But unfortunately this also means that new payment for island hopping adventure. Due to this, our adventure was cut short. The staff did not even apologize to us after the incident nor admit her mistakes. We did had a refund of 1500 for the short trip care of the resort but still we were not able to finish the adventure we hope we had. In a lighter view, food are okay some are really delicious but not all, LGBTQ Staff members were nice and accomodating but still NOT...
