Bolo Beach Santorini (RDL Compound, Sition Malimpec, Bolo Beach) — Hotel in Alaminos

These two properties are modestly furnished, but the location is absolutely amazing, literally a few minuets form Bolo beach where you can get your boat to do island hopping in 100 Islands National Park (which is the main reason for coming here). Marie the owner coudl not be more helpful, her husband drove us form the buss station at 11.30pm! which is incredibly kind. They provide all the information, book the island hopping boat and food form restaurants in town. Cannot recommend too highly! And Beth is a splendid housekeeper. The room's walls were a bit moldy, which is probably inevitable in this climate and being so near to the sea.

Pangit nila ka-bonding. Maganda naman yung place exactly how it is advertised (ang hirap lang puntahan kasi medyo liblib na tapos dadaan ka sa crowded na residential area) pero dun na lang tayo sa sigurado at hindi pabago-bago ng isip. Yung totoong family-friendly sana. Yung family vacation na matagal pinagplanuhan at pinaghandaan (I've been following their page since pre-pandemic and been meaning to go there) muntik nang mauwi lahat sa wala because they turned us down (despite booking in advance and letting them know we will have additional heads - which they allowed!). We drove 8 hours from Cavite with 3 toddlers only to be told they can't allow additional persons sa room. Pinost naman nila yung number namin sa group ng mga resort owners sa Alaminos kaya yung 2PM na supposedly check-in naging 5 PM kasi nauwi pa kami sa "resort hopping" trying to find an accommodation that allows walk-in.
