Oceanview Homestay — Hotel in Alaminos

It all started when we walked in and they couldn't find our reservation. It was so complicated for them because of their irresponsibility and stressing for us. They finally found the reservation after bringing in more personnel. They gave us our rooms and when we walked in they stank and the beds had dirt on them. Sheets and pillowcases were not washed. The restrooms stank badly and had spiders and other insects. When it was our time to eat lunch, it took an hour plus for a majority of the food. I say majority because it took over an hour and a half for the 2 club sandwiches we ordered. We feel that was preposterous because the food was just average. After food we went in our rooms and the beds oh my, oh my! That was disgusting! The pillowcases, sheets, and blankets were so dirty that I couldn't use them except for the sheets. It felt weird sleeping on that dirty sheet anyway. Over the hours, the smell kept getting worse. Our room (room one), including a air freshener but it wasn't a spray so it didn't work at all. We tried putting it in front of the Air-conditioner but that still didn't work well. If you get a downstairs room the first thing you may notice is the flooring in the restrooms. It is very dirty and old proving they don't clean it. If I were them, I would have the floors replaced. In the middle of the night, I woke up to a banging noise. It was people working. I don't understand why places don't just close down for renovation. It would've been smarter and it wouldn't have bothered me and my family. Also when we were eating breakfast the silverware was dirty and wasn't washed properly. Last but not least the staff at the front desk are always on their phone or not attnetive. I find that incautious of them. Other then those issues, the pool...

DO NO GO THERE !!! There are so many wrong to say about that place where we spent 3 whole nights for a crazy expensive price ! The tiny room we got was smelling like piss and was dirty The bedsheets and towels were stained There were cats sleeping and scratching in the ceiling There was NOBODY at the reception 99% of the time and when we got there, the receptionist was SLEEPING ! No one was even able to give us the right wifi code ! We were the only 2 guests in the hotel and we just felt like we were actually just the 2 of us the whole time, there was nobody else, not anyone from the staff

All in all, we had the worst time in that place...

Room: Too small for 4 people. Maliit din ang CR/Bathroom. The toilet cover was small para sa toilet kaya dumudulas kapag umuupo ka, tatama din ang tuhod mo sa wall kasi malapit ang toilet sa wall ng CR, pa-side ka uupo pero dudulas naman ang toilet seat. Pressure ng tubig na lumalabas sa shower ay mahina kaya masyadong mainit yung tubig na lalabas kapag ginamitan mo ng heater at matatagalan ka maligo.

Customer Service: 1/5. Palaging walang tao sa front desk. We ordered our packed lunch for our island hopping and our breakfast too the night before our island hopping. The staff assured that we can get our packed lunch at 7am including our breakfast (packed also pra kainin na lang sa first island na mapupuntahan namin) and assured us na nakalagay sa container (pra di matapon) ang mga inorder namin na food at palalamigin muna ito bago i-packed pra hindi mapanis. The breakfast drinks can't be taken out kaya we agreed to consume it at 6:30am while waiting for the food ng 7am. We woke up early and get prepared. By 6:45am bumaba kami pra magkape, walang staff. Comes 7am, walang dumating na pagkain. 7:45am na dumating food namin. Kulang kulang na nga ang pancake na naserved, wala ding drinks, hindi rin nakalagay sa container ang pancit at rice na order at basang basa pa dahil sa moist dahil napacked sila ng mainit. Our morning has been ruined already, and rarasunan pa kami ng staff na kulang daw sila sa staff kaya nagkagulo-gulo. The management knows that they have a guest sa homestay so hindi rason na kulang ang staff. We didn't bother to order na for our dinner and breakfast kasi nalaman din namin sa other guests na nag-order daw sila ng 6pm ng dinner nila pero dumating ang food ng 10pm (mamamatay ka sa gutom haha)
