Blue Raven Resort — Hotel in Anda

Pros: Amazing view, super kind and helpful staff, decent house, great location, and convenient food accessibility. The breakfast food was good. Cute kittens!! 🐱

Cons: We booked through Airbnb and it had no signs at all in the pictures!! They have to fix that. We had to look for the property for an hour and asked around a lot.

Fortunately, I spoke the language and communication was a breeze but if not for that, my foreign family would’ve been totally lost. 😔 The host wasn’t answering calls or messages so we had to contact the Airbnb support. That was super stressful.

Also, the bathroom shower wasn’t working when we got here and the staff had to call in a repair person to fix it. Bidet water pressure was also super weak but we didn’t want to bother them any more than we already did.

Moreover, their ad said that we can use the washer and that was one of the reasons we chose this place. When we got here, the management didn’t let us use it and we had to pay extra to get our laundry done.

Probably not...

Maybe the cabins (2) here are a decent choice but the Two Bedroom House is not a good option and definitely not worth the price! The property is small, not much here to justify price. The ladies working are very pleasant, good conversation.

Two Bedroom house- It’s 5000 php/ night for a dilapidated structure that was very cheaply put together. The bedroom is small/ cheap feeling, reeks from the old unmaintained AC unit. Bed is cheap uncomfortable foam. AC is loud and unpleasant. Bathroom is cheap and junky, leaking faucets, a long list of small things don’t work. Sewer gas in bathroom. Kitchen is mostly useless. Floors are rotten.

I addressed the price compared to the value of the place with an owner, I’ve stayed in six different places in Anda. He allowed a refund for the second night which was appreciated. This accommodation is worth 1500p in the condition it’s in. There are...

WOW We were planning to visit the island for 2 days but what we didnt know by chance we book in blue raven property the rooms is amazingly cozy with amenity, equipped with everything (hot shower is important) the food is amazing is cooked by the owner with home made taste the owners mad our stay remarkably amazing and we felt like home. Ann the guest relation helped us since we stepped in the property with exceptional welcoming experience. You can book a motorcycle from the property and visit around the town, they have very nice white beach. Also the property have access to the sea and romantic seating area next to the shore.
