We came here for my sister's birthday party. We got catering and the Resort is very accommodating about allowing other food services to set up. However, they have a corkage fee for bottles (such as soda and liquor) from outside and a 250 corkage for lechon, which is understandable, so we paid those for the lechon we had come in. There's also a fee to pay if you want to use the electricity, which we also paid since we rented a videoke machine from another person. We had reserved the outside cottage which had 6 tables. It was our bad but we didnt have enough space for our invited guests and at some point it began to rain, so 6 tables fits only about 40-50 people at the most, and thats really cramming them.
Some complaints are that there were so many flies! And also the shower area leads right to the stairs that lead down to the sea. That wouldve been fine, but many people were using it to wash their dishes and such, so the stairway down to the beach had bits of food like fish bones, stray spaghetti and fruit peelings, which is concerning for those walking around barefoot, esp the kids. Its also probably why there are so many flies. A drain cover would be really helpful for this.
We were planning to get a room to stay overnight because there was a brownout the next day, but the brownout got rescheduled. There was also a prenuptial/wedding happening at the conference hall so most of the rooms were being used to...
Read moreLooks nice at first glance. Unfortunately things do get worse upon further inspection. First the kitchen closes at 5pm so can't order dinner here. Next the rooms arent bad, however, the ac is in a narrow hallway next to the bathroom making it hard to fully cool the room where you sleep. The bathroom window was left partially open so there were a bunch of mosquitoes in the bathroom and when we opened the door many got into the main room where we slept even after killing at least 8 mosquitoes in the sleeping room there were still more biting us over night. Also there were multiple small ants on the bed and a few small (and one large) spider located around the room. Curtains dont fully close due to the curtain rod holder being in the middle so people can see inside unless you overlap the curtains and put something to hold it there. We werent given a key to the room, luckily we had family at the pool area so while we left to get food we didnt have to worry too much about someone coming in our room. Lastly the dinning areas dont have any fans, which I get isnt the biggest deal however the philippines is very hot compared to other countries and since most people who visit are foreigners it would be nice to have a fan available for those eating. Overall the place is okay, but these small issues makes this place not as great as...

The place is pretty good, especially being just at the heart of Bacong.
Its pool is good enough for a small number of people. Wish it could have been larger or that another could have been added. However, there is a lifeguard on duty who is hands-on and constantly monitoring. Pool rules are in place, and adherence to them is moderately tight.
Haven’t ordered their in-house meals as we brought our own. The resort has a grill place and a wash/sink area. The cottage tables are a bit small but is acceptable for the price/rent.
There's an enough shade from the cottages. It's also possible to bring your own swing or hammock for added comfort as their benches were tiled and made of concrete. We looked, but we couldn't find an outlet, therefore we need to bring a power bank. Speakers are welcome, but please be considerate to other home guests.
Trash bins are placed particularly on the cottages. In addition to carrying out his duties, the lifeguard also keeps the pool clean all the time.
They have a corkage for outside drinks in addition to their own, but everything pairs well with the food. Their products are pricier than those found outside by at...
