Tranquil and beautiful jungle river. Small, simple huts with fan and mosquito net. Foam mattress and hard pillows were hard to get a decent nights sleep. We requested a second foamy and they obliged with no issue. Better sleep the second night. There is an attached private bathroom that could use some work. Tap on the ceiling for a shower. No sink. ‘Self flush’ toilet without seat. Concrete floor with sheet metal walls. Owners were very accommodating to our needs. Kayak rental is 800 php/hour (steep). Motorcycle rental 500 php/24 hrs which is also high since most places are around 350 php. Food and beer: if you order anything they will go to the market, buy fresh and prepare for you. 2-3 hours expected wait time. No beer onsite. They go and buy elsewhere upon request. (We ate elsewhere and bought our own beer that they refrigerated for us). Overall, quiet, peaceful, and beautiful surroundings. Sounds of the jungle all night. You get what you pay for. At about 600 php per night we were satisfied. PS: expect late night critter visitors due to the jungle and river...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The place is pretty run down and needs a lot of TLC. We stayed in one of their private double bed huts. |Cons: the stone steps to the huts were very slippery. It had rained a lot in the past few days so that didn't help. The toilet needs a hook to hang your towel when you have your bath. There was no door handle to pull the toilet door shut.|There was no hanging line or hook to hang your damp towels.|Pros: Archie the manager is ever so helpful and attended to our needs.|The place is very authentic "Philippines' life in the jungle" experience which includes experiencing ant bites and a lot of mosquitoes!|The locals are so friendly.|The breakfast, lunch and dinner are cooked to order and so delicious.|You can do Paddleboarding, fireflies watching and other water sports activities|Close to Ecopark where you can do their zipline...

I ended up here after another place overbooked my room. I came with the understanding that four other people were also staying in the dorm - turns out I was the only person staying in the ten bed dorm. As a solo traveller in a pretty isolated accomodation this wasn't ideal!! No locks on the door and honestly the dorm was scary. I didn't even bother with the shower as it was essentially a hose pipe inside a small, dark room. ||||The hospitality of the staff made up what they could for this. They provided a cheap late dinner when I came back from paddle boarding one night and breakfast was good value for money. If the staff ever saw me walking back to the village, they would happily ask me to hop on their scooter - I even joined them for the school run one day :) ||||It's cheap, friendly accommodation but I don't think...

Basic but good place, having said that there’s minor improvements that would make a huge difference. There’s no place to chill really, all the benches and chairs (without back support) are super uncomfortable. As digital nomads we would gladly just spend the whole day there if only they had some beanbags or sun beds. Add some sort of volleyball net or badminton rackets to pass the time and the place would be 10/10. Shower was surprisingly pleasant, no hot water but it’s not freezing cold either. Huts are very basic, beds pretty small for 2 people but you get what you pay for. The fan does the job. Great ambiance with all the sounds of nature in the background. Very nice staff and the breakfast is decent.

A small family run affair lead by a kind old lady and her husband. They offer a small but inexpensive menu as well as a reasonably priced kayak/paddle board tour to see the fireflies which we highly recommend. The accommodation is basic but is fit for purpose and the owners are helpful, offering laundry services and accommodating our food needs. When we saw the firelfies kayaking we had our very own guide for only 800PHP for two of us. The place is down a little track so a bit out of the way from Loboc town but is on the river. They do still have wifi (just) , we stayed for a few nights and would stay again!
