Magalong Beach Resort — Hotel in Busuanga

This retreat center was the highlight of our Coron Seafari Adventure. It is a beautiful, peaceful, spiritual place serviced with kind, caring staff and top-of-the line accommodations. Arriving from our boat, you can immediately feel how special this place is. The beach offered a shoreline that was perfect for long walks, especially around sunset. In the morning we gathered there too for prayer and meditation. The birds welcomed us. By far, my favorite part of this sanctuary is the unique artistry of the Holy Stations of the Cross. The experience walking through each station changed me. Our Faith displayed so beautifully. Our Lord God so Merciful. And the Chapel too; it completes the Station experience. The rooms are lovely. They are CLEAN, bright, modern, spacious with your own patio and a quick walk to the pool. The food was customized and served at a perfect location, like a restaurant, but personal and comforting. Prayers of gratitide to ALL those that were part of this center's creation. It was a joyful stay and I can't wait to return and share this experience...

We just returned from an incredible visit to Magalong Beach Resort. It was the perfect location, about an hour outside Coron, to get away, relax, and recharge. The grounds are so beautiful and right on the water. While they do not have a restaurant on the premises, they have a great cook, Izsa, who will prepare traditional meals upon request for a reasonable charge. There are also a handful of really good restaurants nearby, including Cocovana, Sakura, Buluang Fish Pond, Rose and Salva's and Miley's. Sandra, the proprietor, was wonderful and so helpful in assisting us with arrangements for transport to and from airport and private boat rentals for the day to go island hopping and snorkeling (which is fantastic in the area). We arrived at Sandra's beautiful and very well kept beach resort after a dusty off road scooter trip around the north of the island. After a warm welcome by Sandra and her staff and a cool welcome drink, we noticed that our scooter had a flat tire. Two minutes later Sandra had organised a young man to take care of the flat tire, while she sent us away to enjoy the beach. What a welcome, what a relief! We enjoyed the beautiful quite setting on a wide, clean, sandy beach. Nice, clean room and a very hearty breakfast that got us through most of the day.
