Ocam Ocam Azur Inn — Hotel in Busuanga

Had a very relaxing in Ocam Ocam Azur Inn. Resort is located on the hill side / hilltop with 3 specular views of the ocean, as well as both the sunrise & sunset. Rustic furniture in the common areas are available to have your own space in the public areas. We could hear the rolling of waves. Room is spacious enough, with cable TV, electric fan & aircon, wifi conncetion is available. Good water pressure for the shower with basic toiletries. Surrounded by nature. The quietness & serenity of the place makes it so special. You will just hear the nature talk. Saw couple Palawan hornbill just few meters from our room! What a magnificent sight! Truly, the hosts are true to their word that they welcome fauna. In house restaurant cooks descent meal. Vegetarian option is available too. Martial & Thess are very welcoming hosts. We certainly adored our week at Ocam Ocam Azur Inn. Hosts Tess and Marcel were warm and welcoming and often spent time chatting with us, telling us how they developed their small hotel in the tricky years 2019-2022. There are just 5 bungalows plus a small open air restaurant with a chef and bar that's open from breakfast until late. The pool is small but so warm and beautiful. The inn is on a hill and the restaurant looks out across the sea. As the area is on a thin strip of land you can see the sea on two sides - amazing views and gorgeous sunsets. Fairly basic but well made food. The rooms were rustic but comfortable and had air conditioning and a fan plus balcony. And we loved friendly pet dog Coco who slept...

Big thank you to all the staff at Azur Inn. They are an absolute asset. Big up Eric who is a top class manager, who did everything from organise a trip to Black Island (must visit for anyone staying here) and sorting a taxi for us back to Coron. Also my main man Marmar who is a legend - lovely hard working guy who went above and beyond.

The inn itself is beautifully constructed with amazing carpentry, using local wood. So many beautiful handmade features. It really is a beautiful spot.

Only small note was that maybe it could have been made clearer that the closest ATM is far away. So make sure you arrive with plenty of cash.
