Stujo Hill House — Hotel in Calaca

Stujo Hill House is a good place to stay. The place can host big parties because of its spacious area and variety of bedrooms.

The entrance to the place seems a little awkward and critical because it is located in a sharp turn of a road, but once your vehicle is parked, there is nothing to worry about. The parking space can accommodate 2 vehicles, additional cars can park outside, adjacent to the place.

Once you enter, you will be welcomed by the huge volume of space, with its high ceiling and elongated open plan. There are many choices where to hang out, the 3 in 1 billiards-air hockey -table tennis area, the living area, the long dining table with videoke, and even the kitchen with its double doors refrigerator and double tub sink in the counter island.

The sleeping quarters have variety as well. You may choose among the Master Bedroom, with 1 queen size bed, and en suite toilet and bath. This is the only room with a bath tub. The second room has 2 queen size beds, quite smaller than the master bedroom, but still spacious for its guests, also with its own toilet and bath. The third room is the largest, having 3 queen size beds, perfect for groups of individuals who are "barkadas". The room also has its own toilet and bath and a balcony where you can extend your hangout just before bedtime.

Stujo Hill House is a #Pawsome venue if you want to take a break and bring along your pooches. They welcomed Uno and Mochi with open arms. Uno, our wooly husky, often gets refused by others because of his size, he's basically medium-sized, but because of his fluffy fur, he looks bigger than the average Husky at only about 28kgs (large breeds are usually 30kg up).

The place has a lot to offer! They have a nice bath tub with a stunning view of Taal (although at the time of our lodging, the thick fog spoiled this.) But there were a lot of other things to enjoy here like the videoke and the multi-purpose play table. Modern house with an overlooking view and can accommodate up to 20 pax. Just a less than 5 mins drive to Tagaytay and parking space included in the property.

Best be ready because we encountered so much insects INSIDE the place while we were there (from mice to beetles to tons of flying ants). We had to clean our beds multiple times to get them off our bed. Knowing how much insects were around, it did not give a restful sleep throughout the night.

Pest control is needed, as well as an option to have blinds (it gets really sunny and really hot in the living room and you can’t do anything about it bc there’s no AC). There also didn’t have items considered as basic items in regular Airbnbs (shampoo, body soap, towels, dishwashing liquid). The water dispenser was also faulty and didn’t make the water cold...
