Golden View Grill Cafè and Restaurant is an underrated Filipino restaurant in Calaca, Batangas, just a little farther away from the Tagaytay tourist crowds. It’s located along the scenic and peaceful Diokno highway.

Really good Filipino food, deserves a 5-star because of delicious dishes and excellent service. Amazing view of Tagaytay greens from their 2nd floor. I specifically loved their Iced Coffee! The Lomi served lacks in flavor, and requires an excessive amount of soy sauce and calamansi to enhance its taste. Primarily, their Lomi does not contain any meat, it has only shredded cabbage, kikiam, half-boiled egg, and chicharon present. View was good, furniture and ambience looked a bit dated however it's the food that got to me. I never tasted bulalo as bad as the one here. The soup had an after-taste that tasted like it was fish stock (when it should taste like beef). It was so terrible. Even if you put patis, kalamansi, sili to drown out the flavor, the fish taste still stood out.
