Nikita's Place Hotel — Hotel in Calapan

TLDR: Clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The place is great if all you're looking for is a place to crash for the night. We checked-in late afternoon and checked out basically 6 am the following day. All we did was take a shower and get some sleep.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The tv works. The showers have hot water, although we think it was hard water (coming from a deep well perhaps?), so it felt a little different. Other places we went to in the area had similar water quality, so it may be that most places there use well water. We're not water experts so don't take our word for it.

The rooms could use bigger closets, i suppose. And side tables i guess. Plus, the showers could use a high shelf to put clothes in while taking a bath. But other than that, we had an OK experience and the staff were friendly and accomodating.

There didn't seem to be many choices in terms of room service, but there is a nice cafe right beside the hotel, and a convenience store (sari-sari) a couple of minutes walk away. There's also a 24 hour mcdonald's nearby, but they only deliver until 9pm.

If you're looking for a luxury hotel experience, this isn't it. But if all you want is to a clean place to sleep before going someplace else, this is worth checking out.

PS: my 5 year old kid, who usually has trouble sleeping in places other than home, (namamahay) slept really well in Nikita's place. Whether that's a compliment to the place, or a testament to how tired we were, I leave that to you...

We had to stay in Calapan because my wife's mother was hospitalized with a stroke. Nikita`s was very close to the hospital a 5 minute tricycle ride. Of the hotels in the area this was the most modern and comfortable. We stayed 7 days. Our room was very comfortable with 2 queen beds. It was very quiet you do not realise you are next to a busy road.Remember this is not Manila this is in the province so there is only a cold shower. There is free wifi in the room and all over. Breakfast is included and is delivered to your room as they do not have an eating area inside the hotel. Security is very good, they have lots of surveillance cameras and an overnight security guard. The rates are very reasonable. All the staff including the manager are very helpful and pleasant. I would not hesitate to...
