If you're looking to stay in and get away from the city, this is a good place. I always read reviews and chose this because of them. So some aspects were not what I expected.
I stayed with my daughter for 3 nights. Check in was very quick and at 1pm room was already available. It was already cold and smelled nice. It's like a 1 bedroom condo. With kitchen amenities, no knife and rice cooker. Our room sadly did not have a view. Well a sliver of a view. It was cold though and great for a literal staycation
Their room attendant and IT was quick to respond. And they follow through which is always appreciated.
Pool wasn't too small nor was it big. With a great view. But may get crowded.
I was a bit letdown by the breakfast. There was a weeklong training at the time of our stay. A portion of the restaurant was used. I understand they tried to accommodate because it was a big group. But i was disappointed that it was at expense of in house guests. Who also personally paid to stay at the hotel. So no breakfast buffet it was plated instead and took a while. I was right to assume that breakfast would be better on our last day because the training was done. Food was ok. Bread selection was not made in house i think but bought at a local bakery. I could be wrong. Since there weren't any food places close breakfast was make or break.
Transportation Book a motortaxi or ride sharing app No one will get a cab for you. Shuttle to IT park has 1 schedule and is not always available contrary to a review I read.
It's a bit of a walk to get to where there's public transportation and there really isn't a sidewalk.
My stay sa relatively good. Because of the room. 2 tvs a comfortable bed. Working shower with heater working aircon. Breakfast was the sore spot over getting a room with barely any view
Like The Noble Cebu you're sharing this place with residents.
It was an ok stay. Not a 5 star review like most that i gave read,...

❌ We had to transfer rooms from 5th floor (tv in the masters bedroom is not working and the night light of the bedside too) ❌ When transferred to 4th floor, the floor drain of the bathroom is clogged. It's not draining the water. Water all over the bathroom floor. Maintenance had to get the water manually using the trash bin and flush it in the toilet 🤮 ❌ Had to ask for clothing rack to be placed in the balcony where we can hang our wet swimming clothes yet FD said it's to no avail. We can hang it on the side just make sure it aint visible. Like really? It's impossible tho. They gave us a mop stick only and hangers. Improv it is! ❌ They had Father's day buffet. I availed the Father's day promo ₱5,999 with free 2 complimentary cocktails, cake and massage for the Dad. We didn't avail the buffet but ordered their Ala Carte. However we had to wait 8pm to do so. They only had 1 high chair for the baby. We had to wait for the other guest to be done unfortunately they we're finished the same time with us. Lol how tragic? Aw ❌ We had the massage I paid for mine while my husband availed the free ones. We had to call the FD for our 2 complimentary cocktail drinks, they need to verify it first since they don't know. Also the complimentary cake they did not served it to us during dinner. Hay naku! Labad. Latagaw! ❌ Here comes the worst part of the Father's day special. We had the Family Deluxe room the 2 bedroom. There was actually NO SLEEP happened. Literally! Our room is on the road side. We can hear everything!!!! Cars, Ambulance, Motorcycles etc! We we're not fully rested. There was no peace at all. WALLS IN THE ROOM IS NOT SOUND PROOF. Sleep is luxury. It's supposed to be a staycation. Vacation. But no. It was a nightmare!
1/5 ⭐️ Will not recommend to the people who...
Read moreHorrible experience at this hotel - after 2 weeks backpacking around the Philippines I hoped to spend one nice evening before flying back at the Hayat. I was not too bothered about the location as I had already explored Cebu and just wanted a quiet night to relax. The location is not great though as it's easily an hour away from the airport when there is traffic and quite far from the city centre. It's not too far from the Temple of Leah if that's your thing.
The hotel is clearly not finished with building work happening during the day and some floors (higher) that you can access through the lift and end up on a non finished floor with absolutely zero warning nor protection. A kid could literally press the button and wander around the floor with no wall nor protection... Shocking!!!
My main issue was that all the rooms that are on the road side are literally impossible to sleep in. I have slept in guest rooms with no electricity and Aircon that were better than this. How can you think that a single glaze window on a busy road will do the trick to provide some kind of soundproofing. I did not sleep as it felt like my bed was on the side of the road next to cars and moped and I was on the 5th floor. I find it shocking that the management allows people to book these rooms.to be honest. I'm not familiar with luxury hotels but it seems like it's the image they are trying to project but for me it felt more like a scam....
One positive of staying at this place is the staff that were all super friendly and tried to help as best as they could. I have nothing bad to say about them.
I would not recommend anyone to stay in this place if you want a quiet and restful night or want to explore the city. Check out a place like the Yello Hotel in Cebu - rooms are clean, nice, the location is good and you'll pay even less for a good...
