This resort is probably the most well-maintained, developed resort in the city. And it is. Chose this place based from my friend’s suggestion. The first beach I went before coming here was rancid, underdeveloped, and left forgotten. It looked haunted. But Estrella del Mar does its job as a resort.

I was in Room 4. Worth 1,700 pesos. It is without a complementary breakfast. They don’t do that. Hopefully soon they will, but they have a restaurant to serve you breakfast, a bit pricey. The TV was not working; I didn’t bother asking them to fix it. I just wanted a background noise anyway. I was on my phone instead.

Check-in at 2:00 PM Check-out at 12:00 PM

Lovely service. They wear masks too. They don’t have mobile numbers to contact them. I reached them through telephone. Yes, you can reserve ahead. There are only nine rooms in the hotel so better book or reserve ahead. Other room are worth 1,900 for 2 persons in one bed, and 2k up for other rooms good for 4 ore more. They don’t allow another person or extra bed in a room that is good only for the specific of number people. Like for example, a room good for 2 people should only be two, unless the other is a child. Also, their prices in the menu in the restaurant starts at 130 for the food and 40 for thé beverages. And they accept cash only since their card recording machine was not working.

Overall, I loved...

Food and Price: Food was unexpectedly delicious. It’s pricey but it sure is worth the price. Delectable and appetizing food choices on their menu. Their Crispy Pata is my dad’s favorite.

Location: It’s located in Barangay Cabitoonan, 2 barangays going south from Poblacion. It’s by the highway and easily accessible. The problem would be the lack of parking space and it’s actual location near a road curve which could be dangerous if drivers are driving on high speed.

Customer Service:...

Property had undergone significant damage from a typhoon last year and there was significant work that needed to be done. The restaurant is no longer open. The room I was given fronted next to highway and was noisy. The toilet seat had been broken and was repaired at my request. The pool needed tile work and refinishing as well cleaning. The best i can is the bed was OK and the ac worked. ...
