Our stay at the 1st floor spacious studio at Palasyo ni Dhalia from June 2nd to July 2nd was an unforgettable immersion into local Philippine life. The studio itself is genuinely spacious, providing ample room to relax and unwind.
A huge commendation goes to Edna, the caretaker. She was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay, always ready to assist with any queries or needs. It was also incredibly convenient to have all the necessary supplies available in her well-stocked shop on-site.
The local village and its people are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel like part of the community from day one. This is a truly local experience, complete with vibrant street vendors selling delicious local food right outside your door. Yes, the roosters do wake you up early, so embracing an earlier bedtime is definitely the way to go – it just adds to the authentic charm!
The location is fantastic for exploring local culinary delights, with the famous Entoy's reef eel soup restaurant just a short, pleasant walk down the street. For bigger grocery runs, The Grand Mall is a convenient 10-minute trike ride away.
