One Platinum Hotel, Camarines Norte — Hotel in Daet

We stayed at One Platinum Hotel in Daet, Camarines Norte from Aug. 3-5, 2018. I booked 3 De Luxe Rooms and 1 Standard Double Room.

The hotel is in the center of the city. Parking slots are available in front of the hotel. You have PSBank ATM below their building and across is BPI ATM. Jollibee who is open 24 hours is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Across the hotel is Andok’s Roast Chicken. Almost adjacent is Leon Hernandez Hospital - a private hospital for emergencies or any medical needs. Mercury Drug is just 50 meters away equivalent to a 3 minute walk.

We had a very comfortable stay in One Platinum. The rooms are all non-smoking and individual split-type air conditioners are installed. They have WiFi, with hot and cold shower bathrooms and Cable Flat Screen TVs. Daily complimentary distilled water are provided. The rooms are immaculately clean. The linens are fresh smelling and they make-up room daily.

The Cafe and other outlets are opening in September yet. That’s why you can buy meals outside and the hotel will provide you with their dining utensils and dining area to use for free. You can always help yourself with free coffee/tea/hot choco at their lobby.

My whole family are so happy with the hospitality and courteous service.

Alma, their General Manager personally oversees everything from our check-ins, cleaning of our rooms and even guides us within Daet’s tourist attractions and places to eat.

We will return to Daet this year and will definitely book our family in One Platinum Hotel.

In closing, may I thank Ms. Alma, Ms. Emma and the whole staff who have made our stay a memorable and pleasant one. We felt home at One Platinum.

I rented rooms 312 and 313 hoping to get decent rooms for the price I paid. Rooms were hot as the a/c were located below the bed so the air did not circulate. I called for assistance and their solution was to put an electric fan in our room!!! When I asked to be transferred to another room, I was told that the only empty room was already reserved. By this time, it is already 9:30 p.m. or so. We decided to stay in the room reversing our position putting our feet where the head is usually positioned then the nightmare continued, red ants started biting us through the night. You could actually see a line or red ants climbing up the bed. Walls have cracks and not well maintained. Part of the ceiling in room 313 had mold like stain on it. Unexpected delight at this new hotel right in the middle of Centro in Daet ... our deluxe twin share room was spacious, TV had many clear reception channels, there was coffee-making facility, free bottled water, free wifi ... breakfast selection was a little limited but serving was sufficient, plus brewed coffee was refillable !||||The only thing lacking was an elevator ... reception was on the 2nd level and our room was on the 3rd ... not ideal after a long day out.
