We had the most wonderful experience staying at Amwani Breeze over Easter. I cannot recommend this place highly enough — not just for its natural beauty, but for the incredible warmth and generosity of Jeff and his family, who own the land and have lovingly built these bungalows from the ground up.
Their connection to the land, their community, and their guests is something truly special. You can feel the love and care in every detail — from the layout of the huts to the hospitality shown from the moment you arrive.
On our final night, Jeff set up a table of food and drink, pulled out the karaoke, and invited everyone staying to come together. It turned into one of the most unforgettable nights of my life — singing, laughing, and sharing stories under the stars with people from all walks of life.
It’s important to mention that while Jeff and his family are the heart and soul of Amwani Breeze, the current booking setup does not reflect that. It’s my hope that they will soon regain full control of their space and receive all the credit and support they deserve. They are the true spirit of this paradise.
If you’re lucky enough to visit, go with an open heart — and you’ll leave with memories that...
Read moreMost of the staff were very very nice and friendly!! We rented a bungalow room for a higher price but honestly just rent a tent as there’s very minimal difference for the price difference. Big downfall were the cockroaches in the rooms. We had 2 and it made it feel very uncomfortable and didn’t have a good sleep knowing they were in there and could get through the big cracks of the floor/walls at any point. Bungalows are also quite small. Bathrooms rarely had toilet paper restocked and the food prices were very high compared to other places. Location cannot be beat though and they do provide many services. The road however is dangerous to motorbike to as the they are dirt roads and arriving at night makes quite...

Take you chances and find something on that strip it’s mostly the same concept beach front tents and rooms some including breakfast at the same price you’d pay at Amwani just for accommodation. The staff is not the...
