If you are looking for a quiet place and away from the noise at the El Nido center, La Colonial is definitely a best spot. I love the jungle-y vibes, the spacious rooms and superb staff service! Had a problem with the room AC and they easily provided a new room. Breakfast and food was also amazing, they were able to prepare & customize according to my pescatarian diet. Mica was very hands-on and friendly. Highly recommend the place, a little sanctuary in El Nido. Ohhh they also have cute guest pets. You can also rent a motorbike to go around or request for a tricycle service. It’s also just around 10mins drive from Vanilla Beach, a good spot for sunset. 15-20mins drive from El Nido center and 45 mins from El Nido airport via tricycle. Thank you La Colonial team, it was a wonderful stay! 🌺🏝️💫

Mauvaise expérience dans cet hôtel. Il est totalement décrépi, et pour la moitié en travaux. La piscine est pleine de feuilles, nous avons dû demander de la faire nettoyer pour pouvoir s’y baigner. Tout est vieillot, la salle de bain a des odeurs d’égout, la peinture s’écaille. Le petit déjeuner est compris dans l’offre, mais la moitié de la carte n’est pas disponible, malgré nos demandes sur tout notre séjour. La qualité du petit déjeuner n’est pas non plus au rendez vous. Nous avons loué un scooter via l’hôtel, le premier faisait un bruit pas normal, le deuxième sans phare arrière, nous nous en sommes rendu compte la nuit, donc très dangereux, et la réception n’a pas du tout été compréhensive et ne s’est pas excusée: vos prestataires sont votre responsabilité !! Pour finir en beauté notre séjour, lors du check out, avec le rendu du scooter, ils ont oublié de me rendre ma pièce d’identité, ils m’ont dit qu’ils allaient me la renvoyer, mais après 4 mois d’attente et plus de réponse j’ai fini par la déclarer perdue… Pour conclure, le rapport qualité prix est complètement délirant, plus cher qu’à Paris pour des prestations médiocres !!

He vivido durante 3 años en Filipinas y he ido a muchos lugares, y veo pasar el tiempo y como la masificacion y el turismo hacen de lugares únicos un poquito menos especiales, todo lo contrario en La Colonial. La atmósfera de acoge desde el primer minuto. Un lugar virgen, muy tranquilo, pero con maravillosas estáncias, espaciosas, limpias… y la piscina… todo rodeado de un jardin que te hace sentir en medio de la selva. A pesar de estar en una zona sin cobertura, disponen de internet grácias a Starlink, qué maravilla. El personal es encantador, especial mención a Monica, increible mujer, siempre atenta al mínimo detalle. El primer dia disfruté de un Ceviche, buenísimo! Los desayunos “a la carta” no tienen desperdicio y el bar siempre disponible para poder disfrutar de una cervecita tumbado en una amaca despues de un duro dia de Tour por las islas. Enhorabuena a todo el equipo de La Colonial!!! Ya tengo hogar para mi próxima visita!!!!

Overpriced

My girlfriend and I spend 2 nights here and we payed quite a lot. 21000 pesos. So we expected something nice. It wasn’t. The hotel is located a bit outside el nido, which is ok, you can easily access the town and the beaches on a scooter. But there’s no charming jungle vibe about the hotel. The hotel itself is not charming, it’s sloppy built and the pool is not nice. The rooms are spacious, but the bed is of bad quality and the bathroom is very bad. It had a bad smell and seemed to fall apart. We slept very bad the two nights we stayed there because of the state of the bed and because of the noise from the aircon and the roosters that were making noises all night. The food wasn’t good either. We had breakfast two days and dinner one night and we didn’t like what was served. I wouldn’t...

If you Are looking for a Nice hotel with a Bit of a distance to the busy streets of El nido, this Hotel is for you. You can reach Corong Corong beach in about ten minutes by tricycle or Rent a Moped. The rooms Are very spaceous, clean and Overall luxurious. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful.

I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately on the last day the staff organized Transport to the Puerto Princesa airport and it picked us up 2 1/2 Hours Late and we missed our flight. Staff kept telling us that it is coming but I honestly believe the driver forgot about us and they put us into the next Transport. That was an unfortunate end...
