INARA SIARGAO, BEACH RESORT — Hotel in General Luna

I have mixed feelings about my stay at Inara. The hotel, grounds and room were all stunning and the staff were friendly and willing to help. The WhatsApp service was convenient for requests, though a bit distracting if you're trying to fully disconnect by the pool.

Unfortunately the elements that didn’t meet my expectations were surrounding the food and beverage and service. There is no service after 8:45pm after which the hotel gets very sleepy—there’s really no vibe at all, no music, no common area to hang out- it’s time for bed. It’s also quite disconnected from the main General Luna strip, so I felt a bit cut off as you can’t really go anywhere else for a drink or additional food items. That could be a plus if you're looking for a peaceful retreat and want to fully disconnect, but I was hoping to enjoy the facilities and atmosphere more in the evenings

The food is good but service standard fell short of 5*. No white wine was available during our stay and drinks were served without ice. Sea food options were disappointing and expensive.

I spent 5 days and 4 nights here for a yoga retreat. Everything about this resort was incredible - the nature, pools, outdoor showers, beachfront, food, staff. I felt so comfortable here.

I stayed in the room on the second floor with a private deck. It was very comfortable with lots of space. Staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Special shoutout to Jom, Hope, and Marvs for their hospitality. Also big thanks to Chef Janny for all this delicious meals. They have a very impressive menu of food items and drinks. Highly recommend trying the fried fish, garlic rice, and fried eggs and ginger tea for breakfast, and the calamansi pie + turon for dessert!! Masarap.

My fiancé and I stayed at Inara for 9 nights and had an unforgettable experience from the moment we were picked up at the airport. Everything was flawlessly arranged from start to finish.

The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s hands down the friendliest team I’ve ever encountered—they truly made us feel at home from day one.

Our room was exceptional: cleaned daily and maintained to the highest standard—easily a 10/10.

The location is also perfect, with everything conveniently accessible by tuk-tuk, van, or moto.

One thoughtful touch: a WhatsApp group chat is created a day or two before arrival, allowing you to share preferences or requests directly with the team. And they responded within a minute, every time.

All in all, it was the best service I’ve ever experienced. Couldn’t recommend it...
