Malinao View Beach Resort — Hotel in General Luna

Bella— because the resort was simply beautiful, but also because of our amazing host/bartender/tour guide Bella! ||||We stayed here for about 3 nights in early April. The resort staff were ALL so sweet and accommodating. They even took our breakfast orders the night before so food was ready as soon as we woke up! Ensuring we’d be on time for the day’s activities. ||||The rooms/facilities were modest, but clean and had everything we needed. And the dogs! My god the dogs! Ok there are dogs all over Siargao, but the dogs on site are familiar to the resort, clean, and freaking adorable. ||||The outdoor bar/lounge was definitely a highlight— so great to have a place to chill at all hours, and that was accommodating of large parties. The room we stayed in (7) was emty! A great view and a great spot but our apartment had a small couch, TV, Kitchenette and the bedroom a bed and side tables. Its all you need really. It was clean, the bathroom excellent, and an amazing view. It could have been so much more though. Make the aprtments comfortable and homely and you would never leave. Some decorations, a couple of lunge chairs, half a surfboard on the wall. Something!! It just seemed bland. If you dressed it up you could charge double and get more people in their! Staff are friendly and helpful. The owner is awesome and frindly. Breakfast was incredible and tasty.|Itsa bout 5 km from Gen Luna but who cares. There were littel shops and restaurants around. You are literally five minutes from the hotspots, and they give you water (not like Bintana on Camaguin). Its exactly what it says it is and we enjoyed...

The location of the hotel is a bit outside of the center, so it is best if you have a motorbike to explore the area. We rented one from the hotel with no problems. ||Our room consisted of a very big living room with free drinking water and a TV, and a nice bedroom with a balcony and a great view of the ocean. Everything was very new and clean.||The owners are very friendly and gave us lots of tipps and helpful information about activities.
