Secret Spot Siargao Eco-Homestay — Hotel in General Luna

Our stay in Secret Spot was nothing short of amazing!

We booked the sunset room for 8 days. The room is spacious, clean, and really comfortable. One thing I also loved about the room is how fresh and bright it looked. And as the name suggest, it truly is a sunset room! The place in general is really great too, we really loved the interior of the place! It's also located not too far from the Tourism road which we liked as it allowed us to get a peaceful sleep as it's away from the busier roads.

The highlight of the stay was definitely the service. The manager, Breech, and housekeeper, Neneng, were accommodating and always made us feel at home. Breech helped us in facilitating our tour packages, pick up transfers, and bike rental. It really allowed us to enjoy trip as it was hassle free thanks to her. She also has a dog called Luna, the sweetest girl who comes to greet you at the door step ❤️ As for Neneng, she assisted us with our laundry and cleaning of our room whenever we requested. We were really surprised with how quick she did our laundry (we got it within a few hours on the same day when requested) So we never had to worry about not having enough clean clothes throughout the trip.

Overall, we strongly recommend staying at Secret Spot Siargao. The service allowed us to focus more on enjoying what Siargao has to offer 😃 We'll definitely be staying here again on our next...

We had the pleasure of spending three whole months at the Secret Spot Eco Homestay on Siargao, and we can only speak highly of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warm hospitality of the hosts. Communication was always quick and friendly, and we felt right at home. The location of the homestay is excellent. It is situated outside the hustle and bustle of General Luna, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Yet, it is still close enough to General Luna, with its city centre, bars and restaurants, if you want to go out.

There was a good kitchen where we could cook our own meals. The tuna we prepared there was the best we have ever eaten.

We especially loved the cat, Muning, who kept us company every day. Depending on the time of day, we also had visits from a few dogs, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Overall, we highly recommend the Secret Spot Eco Homestay. It was an unforgettable experience, and we are already looking forward to coming back someday. Thank you to the entire team for this...

Staff were never present, very hard to find. No information was available about things to do or offers. We discovered from one of the cleaners a cheap way to do island hopping but the staff only knew what was already online. However the Wi-Fi rarely worked and the hostel is located at a data dead spot. The "cafe" was open at random times though when it is open the food is mouth watering.

Very very far from the town and the night life. Beds were comfy but mosquito nets had holes in them so they still got in and bit you.

One large communal dorm, with no sort of sound barrier so if people are downstairs partying you're not sleeping.

Showers were constantly broken and the water used in the taps and shower wreaked of sewage. Shower heads didn't really work. Stayed for five days and twice all three showers broke. On my first and second day as well as my fifth so it was bucket showers you needed to have.
