It's a no-fuss hotel located right beside a big hospital along Mabuhay Road. It's hard to get at it the first time, but there are a lot of tricycles plying the route, just tell them it's right beside the "Baptist Hospital". It is not hard to get to the malls in the center of the city - it's 10 pesos going from but 20-30 pesos going to the hotel, since it is a bit out of the way. ||||They serve the complimentary breakfast in their cafeteria, which is very bright and clean and looks out to the parking lot. The food is very affordable, well prepared and has large servings that can be shared by two. You can also have it brought up to your room at no extra cost.||||Wifi is strong in the rooms but stronger on the ground floor. Although they were almost fully occupied during my stay, there was hardly any human traffic and the hotel has a very quiet, simple ambiance that makes you feel comfortable.||||The room I got has a double bed, not too cramped and has cabinets for my things. You can ask for additional towels and pillows at no extra cost and everything is very new and smells freshly washed.||||I think the airconditioner is a bit weak, or maybe because the walls of the room gets the full impact of the sunlight, since it is cooler once it gets dark. ||||The bathroom is very clean - maybe they can install a toilet seat in the future.||||The hotel staff are friendly, very accommodating and are always smiling. It was Valentines Day when I checked in and I got a complimentary heart as a souvenir.||||This is a good choice if you are in transit or using GenSan as a base to and from nearby areas (nearby towns of South Cotabato and Sarangani) and need to get to the bus terminal fairly quickly. I recommend this hotel for budget conscious travellers who don't want to feel that service is also...
Read moreWe stayed for five (5) nights at the Hotel. The place has a nice charm to it, it is suited peaceful and quiet beside a hospital, and it has ample parking space. It is relatively far from the city proper but not that far away (just one tricycle ride away and not so expensive, Php 10/person).||||The staff are very warm and friendly. When communicating your schedule to the receptionist, make sure to update your accommodation details as there are two (2) shifts for the staff. The staff are keen on attending to your needs whenever they can.||||They offer van rental service that can be flexible depending on your needs. During our stay, we were able to come up with a good van use/rental arrangement with the management (as there maybe other groups that also require their van service).||||Food served from the menu is good. They offer a nice range of breakfast in the morning, on time.||||The bed is comfortable. Rooms are well-kept. Wi-fi connections are superb according to my colleagues (I didn't bring my laptop on this trip).||||You can feel the generosity and service of the owner through the staff. Our stay in GenSan was very convenient.||||On behalf of our team, thank you Le...
Read moreRoom rates are good for budget travelers. The rooms are small but cozy, with clear cable channels, hot or cold shower, and a free wifi. Accommodation come with free breakfast (the serving are small but cute) 😅 Hotel personnel are friendly. The other good thing for this hotel have a FREE airport pick-up. A wide space parking is available if guest have a car to bring. The hotel is by the side of a hospital (Mindanao Medical Ctr.) and if your room next to it, expect the noise from paging system and the siren ambulance when bringing a patient. Things to improve: Install bidet for toilet use. Clean or replace showerhead with buildup water mineral stain. Repair or replace door knob latch bolt, that causing difficulty in closing the door from outside (embarrassing to slammed the door). For pictures of this hotel kindly refer to other reviewer...
