Waterworld is the biggest splash-world in Iloilo. The slides are great from toddlers to extreme slides. You can choose variety of water activities. You can enjoy the long river, splashes of big buckets, different pools, they have pool for toddlers, kids and adults. Kids section with big buckets that splashes and half of the river are indoor. They have big space with tables for eating, enough chairs, good restrooms for showers, change of clothes and toilets. Indeed you can enjoy your 200 up to 350 pesos entrance. They have lockers for 50pesos for the safety of your things.
Downside: 1.) transportation going there for savers are quite difficult. Two or three passengers their free shuttle will not leave the premises. It has not standby tri-sikad or jeep. You need to go to the front desk of the hotel to request for a taxi. 2.) ALL HAS A PRICE in high price of course. You need to pay high corkage, buy their bottled water, their food, their chairs, their tables, in a high price. 3.) Splashers are not allowed to go out, once you go out you are not allowed to go back or you pay for another entrance-ticket. 4.) personnel are not trained with manners and attitudes. They don't have even the same decisions like proper attire in the pool, on the other entrance you are permitted but on the other side you are not, I have personal experience being embarrassed by one of the personnel who shouted me while I was enjoying with my friends that my cloth is not allowed yet I asked already the other guard and I was allowed. I remove my sando right there and then. They are doing not there jobs of securing people's safety in slides. I hit my self on the wall after I l slide for I was not stopped by the personnel. They are so strict sometimes but not all the time. 5.) Be Ready upon the entrance they will open your bags and/or they will take out what's inside your bags, I was laughing but little embarrassed seeing the personnel holding my underwear ☺. Reason is they are securing NO outside food, no drinking water, no candies, no curls can get inside. They will all confiscate your food and return them...
Read moreWaterworld Iloilo is undeniably a great place to have fun, and enjoy the water splashes together with your family and friends. But I would like to share my experience, together with my family, during 'that day'. I believe it was what they called "Space Hole" (a round-shaped slide that will send you spiraling down in total darkness before releasing you with a big splash into the light once again at the end of the slide). 3 of my company joined the ride, where 2 of them successfully landed (they are women in 20's, weighing around 38-42kgs), while the other 1 is a man weighing 75kgs. Unfortunately, he landed his mouth first, reaching the floor of the pool, where his tooth broke and bleed all over his mouth area. Our concern was (1) the life-guard did not informed us before proceeding the ride that there was a weight limitation for that (which after the incident, they told us that 70kgs below only are allowed). (2) I believe they must put back their weighing scale before letting the splashers do a specific ride. (3) They must put safety and precautions in each specific ride which has their own unique designs. (4) The life guard assigned during that time, in his defense, told us that he did not tried to catch or assist him (who had the incident) because he might get involve in the incident. Is this a joke? (5) That Mister (probably in age 40's-50's) is so impolite to tell us that we signed a waiver which means that they do not care anymore to whatever happens to anyone. We are all aware of the waiver, but showing no concern to your customers and even imposing that they don't want to get involve to any further proceedings is so absurd (6) Not quite sure but I noticed that there were no markings indicating the depth of their pool areas. If there is, it should be at least visible to the splashers. This was just our experience. No negative intentions for this awesome park, but I hope no worse than this will happen. Their life guards probably needs more training in implementing to their customers one-by-one the safety, precautions, and instructions on how to ride their...

We recently visited Waterworld Iloilo. The original entrance fee is ₱400, but we availed of their promo — 4 tickets for ₱999, which was a good deal.
Food & Drinks Outside food and drinks are allowed but charged at ₱150 per kilo (except cakes, which are free). We brought hotdogs and a cake. They also have a canteen inside, but the prices are steep — one 1.5L 7Up was ₱170, which is quite unreasonable.
Facilities We rented a table for ₱250 (good for 8 people). Other table options are also available. Pools and slides follow a schedule, so not everything is open at once. They also provide first aid, which we appreciated because my husband slipped on the stairs and got a cut on his hand.
Slides & Attractions • Big slides have a weight limit of 80kg, except the family slide which allows 3 people with a combined max of 240kg. • The purple slide on the Funtasea side stops midway, forcing you to push yourself down. • The Speedshooter slide (7-storey tower) was a concern. A lifeguard allowed my 125kg brother to try, but after he slid, another staff shouted that the max limit is only 80kg. This lack of coordination and proper briefing could have caused serious injury. Staff really need to be consistent and well-informed about safety rules.
Cons • Pools were a little dirty in some areas. • We saw two dead frogs and some insects in the water. • Water level wasn’t as full compared to our visit years ago. • The lazy river had no current at all — it was literally “lazy.” • Some slides (like the purple one) don’t function smoothly. • Staff miscommunication regarding weight limits poses a safety risk.
Overall Waterworld Iloilo is still fun, especially for families, and promos make it more affordable. However, maintenance, water cleanliness, staff training, and consistent safety enforcement need serious...
