OYO 569 Alt Complex — Hotel in Lapu-Lapu

Started off, they refused to accept my online booking, so I had to cancel that and pay in cash. Laid down in the room for an hour to find bugs crawling on my skin. Went to the front desk to request a different room. They said no problem, took me to the room directly next door, only to see tiny bugs crawling around that bed as well. I told the front desk, if they don't have a room crawling with insects, that I want to leave and want a refund. They refused to return the full amount, saying they had to charge me for sitting in the room for an hour. I would highly recommend to go anywhere else.

To be fair to this hotel, it was one of the cheapest priced on the booking app and one should not expect too much. However, they could have raised their prices to improve on their rooms and amenities a little. Room size was okay. Beds were small. I got a twin room and got a room with 2 single beds. If one is on the chubby type, the bed size will be an issue. The pillow are old and needs to be replaced. They have sweat smell that I had to wrap it in their stained towels so I will not smell it. It was like having an invisible stranger sleeping with you. The shower head was clogged with mineral deposits that only a few nozzle worked. There is a gym and a fastfood or turo turo restaurant in the complex where this...

Not really accessible but a great option for stretching your Moolah. No nonsense lodging near Mactan airport.

I must say though that place is a bit remote specially off-hours since the vicinity is off beat. Transport could be a challenge if your flight is early in the morning.
