OYO 873 Villa Tomasa Forum — Hotel in Lian

If you want to waste money and be stressed on your vacation then this resort in the perfect place. THE ENTIRE RESORT IS FILTHY. Staff are unwelcoming and rude. The room we stayed in is absolutely gross. We are awakened by dripping water on our faces from the pipes in the ceiling. The next morning we discovered that those pipes are indeed toilet pipeline 🤮. And because of that leak, the floor under the bed is flooded with smelly water. The bedsheet is dirty/sandy. I think that was the previous guest sheets and they didn't even bother to change it for us. We can't even brush our teeth because the WATER FROM THE SINK FAUCET IS SALTY! 🤢 Absolutely seawater. 🤮🤮🤮 They advertised that the property has swimming pool. But no it is not operating. Staff said it was not usable long time before. The beach sand is darkbrown/black, which is okay. What is not okay is the quality of water and the garbage that is floating, and on the shore too. In short not safe for swimming. But we had to pay 25php/tourist as environmental fee to the barangay checkpoint 🤔🤔🤔🤔 We asked for samgyup as dinner in which stated available during reservation. But then the staff said it is not available because they do not have lettuce, all the meat are frozen, etc. The staff told us to get our dinner somewhere else besides we have a vehicle😠. Ending, we drove for at least 25mins just to have dinner. By the way, you have to pay parking fee 150php/vehicle, 350php/use of butane stove. If you accidentally forgot to bring frying pan, they will not lend it, you will have to ask the across store...

We had a great deal through OYO and I love the concept but the place was poorly maintained inside and out. The pool didn't have water. The bean bags were not there because of the rain. The condition of the toilet was terrible. The staff were too informal. One young man of the frontdesk was friendly and accomodating though. A supervisor is none existent. Simple staff like spiderwebs in the room could be solved if only a manager is on top of the operations. All those at the reception had access to the cash registry. One older staff even made an issue over 500 peso bill when in fact it was already handed over to her by the other. They've got personnel up to 12 midnight but the young woman behind the reception was so straightforward in saying they sleep so guests may only wake them up if there is any emergency. We stayed at the dorm and I really like how wide the beds are. The color of the linens are far better too. They've got share common area and countertops too. They've got refrigerator but it doesn't work. There were cats from the attic the tries to sneak into the hallway. The good pics here could have been back when it was new. The rooms are okay, it's summer and the AC was in max level but can't feel it though there's also a small fan but not enough for we are almost 10 people who stayed at the VIP Room. The rooms are not very clean, there's this dust and spiderweb at every corner plus the water coming out of thw faucet is salt water. I don't really like the ambiance and there's jellyfish near the shore and it sticked to my baby. The ambiance at night were okay but the bean bags are not really that clean plus there's nothing fun to do either at night. We're not welcomed warmly when we arrived, no staffs around and it seems like they don't know we're coming that day. It feels so strange and they're very difficult to talk to. The only thing I recommend and made me happy was the island hopping going to the white beach which is not so white sand but it's more beautiful and relaxing to stay in there rather than this resort....
