M.I. Sevilla's Resort — Hotel in Lucena

It's a big place and there are still some constructions being done - - - which is understandable that the pool can't be used or that the floor can get a little soiled. But a lot needs to be improved in the actual set-up of the rooms. We got the stellar room, which I assumed is a VIP room, since the other rooms were more of a dormitory set-up. There were some unusual details in the room. There were two cupboards (in a hotel resort room) and one situated on the floor had glass panels, as if what you're supposed to put are meant for display. There were 2 cupboards (which can't really be used to unload one's clothes), no hangers or provisions for one to hang your clothes (we used the chairs instead), the trashcan is too big to fit under the bathroom sink, so it's outside the bathroom, parallel to where the aircon unit is situated on. There are cups, plates and utensils, an electric kettle but no coffee (maybe not to attract ants, but there were some flies who got in the room). The comforters were comfy andall the bed sheets smelled really good. Internet connection was good (as soon as you finish your trial and error with the 3 usernames and passwords given to you). Room service is responsive IF you can get hold of them while you're in your remote location. They weren't able to clean up our room, but I guess with all the guests from the function we were in, they were a bit frazzled to remember (and did not give us soap). But they are very warm and friendly. I hope once they get all those renovations and constructions fine, they'd revisit the other rooms. It's reportedly an affordable venue for accommodations, but to get more guests, they need to also do something about their services...

We had a 3-day seminar here, and overall, it was a great experience. The hall is spacious, comfortably accommodating over 600 people. The rooms are well-maintained, with super clean towels, bedsheets, and blankets, and the air conditioning is excellent.

There was a live acoustic performance where guests could sing along, which was a nice touch. However, it only lasted until 10 PM, and since the place is far from the city, there aren’t many nightlife options beyond that.

While I didn’t get the chance to use the pools, they looked inviting. As for the food, it was decent—nothing exceptional but not disappointing either, just average.

The staff, including the servers and receptionists, were very pleasant and accommodating, which made the stay more enjoyable despite its distance...

facilities are okay. why I made this 4 star only which is supposedly 5 star ia because of the food which is not edible for all. for example, there are vegetarians and individuals who are not eating pork wherwin they cannot take their meal because of the prepared menu. there should be an alternative such as pure vegetables or fish only. this is just my suggestion. hope you will consider this not for me but for the sake of the others and your beautiful resort.. thanks...
