It's a big property in front of Dinadiawan's great white sand beach (they have their exclusive access).
The property is clean and modern with an infinity pool. I am amazed by how modern and hugr this property is so I asked who is the developer. I'm surprised to find out it's owned by a private individual, which sounds very familiar. I studied in Isabela for 4 years so I'm pretty familiar of the usual family names so when I heard who the owner is, I said the name sounds very Isabela (Elmer Baquiran). Go look it up in Google, and found out for yourself. It totally made sense why a huge property from a local developer would be in a place like Dipaculao; big developers wouldn't normally invest in a place without a stable network service.
I stayed with my long-time partner and 2 big senior dogs. The only rooms that can accommodate dogs are the modular container van rooms. It's small, bed is decent but with a blanket good for only one person. The bathroom is something else. Totally not worth the PHP3,000/night that's all I can say about it. Can't complain since we have dogs but it would've been nice to have a decent bathroom for the price. If you also want to swim in the pool, you have to pay 50/person if you're staying in the PHP 3k-worth modular room, I don't understand why. The other rooms are nice and new. They said they're going to remove the modular rooms in the future & turn it into a restaurant. The room comes with a free breakfast, it's 2 dishes with egg and rice. Not bad. But if you're particular with your coffee, bring your own as they only serve 3-in-1 coffee. They also don't serve meals for 2-3 pax, they only cook for 4 pax and more which is a little pricey. But you can eat outside the resort, there are lots of eateries outside by the highway.
There are no stable mobile phone network, not good for remote workers. But the resort offers a wifi voucher for 1 day at PHP100 per device. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is your place. The beach is still worth it.
Overall, it felt like sleeping overnight at Pablo Escobar's property, only that it's from people's fund. 🥴 I hope I'm wrong from what I've read online. It's huge, it's new, and has a potential. Might come back with friends and stay there as a stopover before going to Quirino...
