Given that it was in the province, this accommodation is most likely the best you can find in the area. But I'll be really honest with everyone so you'll know what to expect when you stay here.
The positives: This accommodation is quite lovely, and it was lively when we arrived, which was at night. The house itself was very cool and unique, and the interior also looked wonderful. There was great music playing in the background, the pool was nicely lit, and there were plenty of places to hang out. The location has two air conditioners, which was fantastic! Although it occasionally disconnects, WIFI was fairly quick.
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially Kuya Ogi, their guard. He always responds to our questions, and he always complies with our requests.
For instance, at around 10 p.m., my wife and I had a craving for some doughnuts. He was quite willing to help, so he drove us on his tricycle. He also promised to be awake to let us out when we wanted to go early (the property itself was closed off to deter trespassers).
The downsides: LOTS of mosquitoes. Despite wearing the right treatments for protection, we were outside getting bitten once every ten seconds. Additionally, a few of them managed to enter the house, which took us some time to remove. However, I suppose this is to be expected given that the province.
We had to resort to the old tabo method because the shower head wasn't really functioning. Not only did this require taking a shower by hand, but the water wasn't actually heated, thus it was really cold. I was awakened by a cold shower, so I guess it was alright.
Considering that it was in the province, the cuisine was likewise on the expensive side. We got rice, an egg, a hot dog, and chicken. Nothing exceptional about our order, but I suppose it was convenient since we didn't have to go out and find dinner.
I also wanted to check out their pool, but every time I was planning to go in, there were numerous bugs in the water. In the end, I gave in on the last hour of my last day because I wanted to give it a try. I'm glad I did, but I believe they should find a way to get rid of the bugs every hour to make the swim worthwhile.
We had two beds, and one of them had bugs, so we had to go to the one that didn't have any.
Overall, I would say that the accommodation is excellent for the location. I'm ready to guess that the nearby hotels would have the same drawbacks, thus I would still give the...

It was a last minute decision to book this place since we were driving from Pangasinan and don't want to drive 4 more hours to Isabela. We Facebooked 'hotels in San Jose' and Marquez was on the top list. We were lured by the beautiful design of the rooms.
Price is P3,200 per room. Unfortunately, we feel the price is too much for the quality of service and room amenities. The receptionist assigned us to old facilities since the new extension rooms were fully booked. They only allow 3 persons per room and you will have to pay extra P500 per additional person. Service charge is P100 per 'villa'.
Sleeping area is on the Attic so you need to climb up the spiral staircase. Not safe for kids so we requested to setup extra beds on the...
Read moreIm Korean l. It was last May that I first knew this place. Then I have used it three times so far, and even though I am very sensitive to places and services, I liked it so much that I continued to use it three times. What explanation is needed? Especially on Christmas Eve, I invited my neighbor to have a Christmas party, and my daughter woke up at 2 a.m. and wanted to eat Jollibee food because she was hungry, but they were all closed because of the Christmas holiday, but the staff here said he would be willing to buy the food for me, so I rode his motorcycle to the restaurant, and he made sure everyone would close, so he prepared the food here in a hurry at dawn and even brought it to my room. What explanation is needed? Their sincerity is implied in this. Please...
