No Go! Their Serving Practice is to Rip Off. Please update. You cant claim an eat all you can/buffet if youre serving per single person NoT the Set in your menu. We were here before covid hits btw. This review is for Jan2023. We took the no. 3 seafood, their most Expensive. I was only with my kid for a spur dinner to give in to a celebration request. Took another 15min bfore we are served after we seated ourselves. Provided with a charcoal in a pot at 8pm. And initially was told I can only order 2 dish of the 6 sets in that menu. 1.How so you expect me to cook in a 5 inch rim pot of charcoal? And considering this is Unlimited Seafood? We were served with pork.chicken first. I had to clarify that we wanted the scallop first. Took 3rd call to be served. The beef enoki was Not available. Felt rob there. We are dining for 2 yet ur serving for 1 person set only. They were serving 2 and 2 dish only is served. We have to consume the entire pork serving daw b4 the next batch is served, that ment 2 more dish again and i had to ask for the charcoal to be replaced as its not cooking fast enuf so my child could eat. Our attendee to my cringe stayed watching adjacent the table. It felt more we were judged we won't pay. We both are on sneakers decent short.shirt. we live 200m away.dont think il need to impress a staff to be welcomed nicely when i only want a quiet dinner for my kids' request. We seated ourselves btw and had to wait and call to be served. Very basic.i needed to ask for a pitcher of water as we have used our travel bottled h20. I would say that this is typical if u eat at provincial bus stops self service quality but u claim as a diner? I wont say restaurant if u cant serve (unlimited) as u offer. Finally, being tthe last customer to leave, i ask the bill and pay,for 2 full person, just so i wont see more of our attendee watching us finish our food. Sooo rude watching us all the way. I gave tip still, it is our practice which is not so filipino. To tthe owner/management, please try review the malpractices. The staffs, could use some service training if they have not. Again, this was a revisit and were not tourists. We live next to you but we will go...
Read moreBack in San Jose City Nueva Ecija after a long trip I have the great pleasure of seeing that the restaurant has been completely renovated. Now there is a large well organized room with perfect air conditioning. The staff is smiling and really welcoming the image of the owners I met and who are really charming people. The prices are always very reasonable for very good quality dishes. There is always the same worry that we encounter throughout the Philippines is the sound volume of television or music, it is difficult because of that to have a private conversation and especially to call. But in this restaurant if you ask to lower the volume a little for your tranquility it is obviously not a problem. Chingu BBQ is a restaurant that I really recommend for lunch or dinner if you want to spend a pleasant time with family or friends, it is still one of my favorite places in San...
Read moreContrary to the other reviews, our experience was a bit different. The food was okay, for the price, I was expecting more choices. The service was okay as well, but leaning towards being disappointed. Maybe because we were only wearing ordinary clothes but I felt judged and they didn't want to serve us. We even had to ask for the most basic things such as table napkins and had to make a follow up for the rice to be served. The atmoshpere was okay as well, the seat arrangement will depend on what set you were taking, I find it unnecessary. They have table numbers so it would be so much better if people can choose where they seat and they'll just put the corresponding table number instead. Just my opinion.
Lastly something to take note, they only accept cash. No cards, no e-wallets, just cash. So if you're planning to visit this place make sure to bring...
