Meaco Royal Hotel - Aparri — Hotel in Luzon

Well, we expected to be treated fairly when we had an issue as they provided us with the incorrect room. We were told the room was P2900 for a family room for 4 people,we made them aware a family of 5 with an 11 year old son which thought was P300 but they charged us P300 extra for the child and another P300 for the mattress on floor plus the breakfast.They stated the vip room unavailable. The result of this lead to our child sleeping on the floor because of a difference of P50. We have stayed with the same hotel group in other places and found them excellent but on this occasion it was very disappointing. Such a shame as the staff came across as very kind and pleasant, sad thing was they never acted upon their mistake, and they are not competent at their job. At the same time they told us that the VIP room is not available. Please see pic below of proof that room is still showing available. Further compliant will be made against the hotel management. The location is convenient, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. This is a no-frills budget motel offering the essentials for a quick overnight stay. While the accommodations are extremely basic and the building layout feels a bit odd with large unused spaces and an unkempt frontage, it provides a practical stop for road-trippers or those passing through the area.

Be aware there are no elevators, so luggage must be carried up stairs. Our room was minimally furnished but decently clean, though one of the beds had some stray hairs on the sheets. The air conditioning worked well, keeping the room cool, but privacy was a concern—curtains only covered the window, leaving the glass door exposed to outside view.

if you are a foreigner DO NOT. COME TO THIS HOTEL! staff charge us alot more than they stated over the phone, staff charged us way mode than we thought. We were tood down room was a certain price for 4 people yet they charged us EXTRA it was very disappointing as we came here as a stop over and we drove an extra 45 MINUTES to come here specially, just to pay more than a local hotel where we can be included the breakfast, Staff are not negotiating and will not offer refunds or compensation especially as we had to spend extra for 1 person in a 4 PERSON bedroom, shower goes allover the place, towels are...
