The hotel's location is along the highway a kilometer away from the city proper of San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte and a couple of kilometers to Laoag City. It's relatively new building and they have a very nice edifice. Basement parking is ample and they allow parking in front of the hotel. ||||The rooms are spacious with 2 double beds. No WiFi inside the room but is available in the hotel lobby which is according to my daughter, is unbearably slow. Cable TV has good signal and channels. The room also has a refrigerator, electric kettle, and an ample size cabinet. It would be nice if there was a vault inside.||||There are outdoor pools for kids and adults but the water was quite turbid and I have a feeling that it was not being religiously maintained every day.||||The room was at the very end of the hotel property. The window is facing the north side which has the view of the rice field, cockfighting farm, and a bus depot. During our first night, I requested that our beddings be changed because we experienced itchiness and suspected that dust mites may have been present in the sheets.||||Our bookings include breakfast. The first day, we were served a la carte and the rest of our stays were all buffet. The food wasn't really that good. Choices were very limited and it was a managed buffet. ||||Overall, the stay was fairly good but I think it was overpriced. If it was not for the peak season we could have stayed in a far better hotel in Laoag with about the same price.||||I did not take any pictures of the hotel as we were always out most...
Read moreThe reception staff were very friendly and helpful when I had to make an unexpected overnight booking here. Which I greatly appreciated.||Room amenities are okay. But there isn't a hairdryer in the room. I had to buy one at the mall. ||Room rates are a bit expensive but their beds have the softest pillows and comfy bedding. I suggest book a room on the highest floor and you will have a great sleep.||When we were here they were training personnel -- so expect the room service and on ordering food that it will be slow. But I still say the staff are very courteous and try their best to help you. ||Unfortunately the pool was dirty. So the kids couldn't use it. ||Their breakfast is just buffet style. The usual pinoy food choices. So if you do not prefer that for breakfast I suggest eat at the mall because there are no nearby atms, banks, restaurants or even 7-11 convenience stores.||The location is along the main highway. Convenient to find and get to but it's far from mostly everything for tourists. There are no taxis in this area. Either you book a van or taje a tricycle (or better to just have your own vehicle).||I only give this hotel 2 stars. Its not a good first choice for the...
Read moreThe location of the hotel is along the main road. The lobby is spacious with WIFI. The front desk personnel was helpful and courteous. The elevator is hot. The hallway where our rooms are located is hot. Our rooms were spacious. There was a tv with cable. NO WIFI in the room. The tv has no channel guide. There is complimentary water daily as well as coffee. The bathroom is spacious with the following amenities: toothbrush, soap and shampoo. The water heater is disastrous, when its hot it can burn and the water gets cold for a very long time so bathing takes time to finish. The water drains so slowly. The floor is slippery good thing a mat was available. There is no hair dryer. The glasses were not washed daily. The sink probably is not also cleaned because you can still see the toothpaste stain left by the guest. The airconditioning unit is loud though it is cold. Pool is small and no chairs aroundi to put your towels or robe in. The breakfast has no variety and is cooked per order. Breakfast is not buffet. The bed is double bed quite comfortable. There is a plastic cover over the mattress so it feels hot when...
