It is supposed to be one of the best , if not the best, in the city as of date. Popular people from celebrities to politicians prefer to stay in this hotel. ||The lobby looks good - small but presentable enough. far better than the ones in other hotels in the city,||There is no elevator. Thus, my 70+ years old mother needed to use the stairs. My mistake for not checking that beforehand,||We stayed in a room with 2 double-beds. It has a modern design, looks good, smells and looks clean when we arrived. There is a mirror and a dresser. The TV worked well. They provide free WIFI.||The beds were comfortable. i love the quality of their pillows! ||They give complimentary water and coffee.||To be improved:||1. The aircon unit was frustrating. the room is not getting cold, which turned out to be because of the dirty filters of the aircon unit. I didn't bother to request for cleaning since we arrived late at night and we are just staying overnight. No one also gave us a feedback form or satisfaction survey sheet.||2. The bathroom could be cleaned better. Molds in the tiles. The water overflows to the toilet area when you bath.||3. The soap and shampoo provided should be replaced with better brands. ||4. i doubt the cleanliness of the electric kettle and glasses.||||But it is cheap for the above...

The architecture is modern, similar to Manila hotels. I felt like I never left Manila. Pros: spacious room, free wifi, electric pot and coffee, 2 complimentary small bottles of water, with dental kit, 10-12 min to airport, CBTL in the ground floor, pool, restaurant, courteous staff. Cons: breakfast choices revolve only on tapa and daing na bangus, which is overfried, no hair dryer (need to request for it separately), no ref, no safe. For travellers, you need to bring your own slippers and hair dryer. Considering that it newly opened 2 weeks before I checked in, housekeeping could do better. We had our room cleaned but came back as if nothing happened. I suggest somebody check the cleaning of the t&b otherwise, the hotel will get a bad rap for the state of the t&b - dried soap scum on the tiles and glass enclosure, the sink not cleaned and scrubbed, the bath floor tiles still dirty, esp at...
Read moreStayed here for 2 nights and i must say that there are a couple of hotels in Cauayan that are better than The Hotel Andrea. We were given a Superior Queen room located at their Mezzanine. It was clean but had a foul smell coming from the bathroom - must be the drainage. No room slippers, no refrigerator, and toiletries such as tissue, toothbrush and soap are only good for 1. I did ask for additional towel, but it comes with a price. In terms of staff, they need training - especially the front desk. Security guard and housekeeping are polite and courteous. However, people at front desk/reception are the complete opposite. Requested for housekeeping in the morning and room was still untidy when I got back in the afternoon. Called reception via in-room phone at night and they did not answer my call. To smile was not also in their dictionary, rather it was to sit throughout their shift. Breakfast only has two options but was tasty nonetheless. Overall, the hotel has potential but lacks proper...
